Lets start of with i stop by here to grab little bits here and there. My first item i ordered here was a coffee... Now for coffee i had such a bad experience i would not buy one here ever again really. what i paid for how small the cup was to how bad the drink was. i threw the drink out i just couldn't. coffee here is a complete miss. What is not a miss is the pancakes with cheese and ham which i loved and have ordered a couple time. the lasagna is also very good and definitely a favorite of my coworkers. the sweets are also very good like the dubai strawberries and the arepas are very big crowd pleasers. The owner is very sweet as well as the other ladies who attend to us other days.

In the heart of Hialeah, this hidden gem has been a gate keep but they deserve their flowers!…read more I have been coming here for years and they continue to hold the same consistency in product! This is a family gathering demand and staple for classic Colombian dishes! Their empanadas are the star of the show but when fresh you must snag the pan de Bono's and bunuelo. Their chicharron is delicious along with the homemade arepas! Most regulars you will catch eating Sancocho or tamales first thing in the morning! And by far best cafe con leche in the city! Except a hole in the wall with minimal dinning but it makes you feel cultured. Service is always on point!

A true one-of-a-kind Cuban bakery right in the heart of Hialeah! The place is decorated all in…read morepink--it almost feels like walking into a Barbie store. Too overly decorated to my taste. From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff were welcoming and full of energy. This establishment attracts a certain population of mostly Cubans. The dessert display was beautiful, everything looked so tempting, and the bakery itself was spotless. What really stood out was how happy the staff seemed; at one point, they even came out from behind the counter to dance. While I was there, the owner was live on TikTok, encouraging people to visit, but he still kept an eye on the customers to make sure everyone was being taken care of. I was offered a panetela borracha on the house, and it was amazing. I ordered a ham & cheese empanada and a cortadito--the empanada was delicious, though the cortadito took a little while to arrive. I also grabbed some milk cream nuggets (cremitas de leche) to go, and they tasted just like the ones my grandmother used to make. Overall, the experience was a very positive one, and I'll definitely be returning for more sweets.

I know it as cuban pizza joint that serves ice cream and some really really good cuban food! There's a least 3 of these Polo Norte stores in Miami Dade, I've only been to this particular spot several times and have only one complaint ...the service in the actual restaurant is not all that great, this place is always packed hence the good food. So I basically always order delivery from this place. They serve the best shakes here. They call them sueros... El Suero Chocolate is my absolute favorite... omg so yummy. Try the creamy cheesy soup with shredded ham called Crema Virginia. I also recommend to try "boniato relleno con tasajo" it's sweet potato filled with a delicious salty shredded beef, usually a daily special item that I havn't seen it on the actual menu. The vaca frita here is on point, fried shredded beef with grilled onions, I always have it with rice and black beans. My friends at work consistently order the shrimp pizza for lunch... I've tried several different sandwiches from here before and have always been satisfied.

Description I haven't been to a polo norte in a while an…read moredecided to go again from the last time I went years ago. Polo norte is a cuban style restaurant that sells hispanic food as well as pizza. When we were sat down I felt something dripping on me and when I look up I had moldy water from and AC vent dripping down. What I ordered I ordered a cordon bleu with smashed potatoes, a mamey shake which was actually delicious, a burger and fries for my son and my husband ordered masitas de puerco with rice and beans. When it came to the cordon bleu the inside was cold or not cooked im not sure which way to describe it, the chicken part was fully cooked but when it came to the hame and cheese filling that was fully cold and the mashed potatoes were dry. The masita de puerco was also dry as well and thought to chew on. Value The value it comparable to other place based off portion and size given. Ambiance/Crowd It was a laid back ambiance and crowd you see people of all ages here. Service The service was good I dont have complaints about the service. Parking Parking can be a little tedious since it does share parking with a shopping center and can be full depending on the time that you go. 5 year olds thought corner My son was not too fond of the burger he took a few bites and states he did not want anymore, my husband took a bite from the burger and stated it was not the best.
