First of all, this is a specialty grocer and I may bot be the best person to recognize what it has to offer. It's hard to find, even somewhat hidden behind a car mechanic shop! However, once you know where it is, you're fine. The carts are dirty, so bring some wipes. My friend who accompanied me is Armenian and she loves this place. I found Greek yogurt (homemade), Greek honey, spices, beans, freshly baked pita bread, etc. the prices were very reasonable! I would go back for these items.

Hot pita right off the line and Iraqi Kabob! Great stuff. Good middle eastern food is impossible to find in KY. This place is a jewel.

If you visit Louisville and don't stop here for a bite to eat, I feel sorry for your taste buds and…read morebelly. All of the reviews about the Danwich are TRUE! True people! Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once. Order the Danwich & the Danish. You won't be sorry. You can pay me in Butchertown gift cards. Or Bourbon. Hubby's brother lives across the Ohio so, next time he goes to visit them I'm going with him. Just so I can drive over here and try their lunch items and grab more danishes. The folks were super friendly, the place both clean and quiet. Which, kinda surprised me because the food is so good I couldn't understand why there weren't lines around the block. That changed the longer we dined in as folks just started roaming in. I said to my friend that the Louisville folk must get started late in the day.

Another great visit. Went at 9am and every table inside and out was taken. We ordered a caramel…read morelatte ($7) & cortado ($4) for our drinks and both were good. We then ordered the almond croissant ($6), the cherry cheese danish ($5), and the biscuits & gravy ($12) and all were delicious. Can't wait to go back.

The places of La Grange, Kentucky and Oaxaca Mexico complete a perfect cup of coffee…read more Diego a baker by four generations and co owner Josh started this establishment in 2021. They have blended together the baking from long ago Spanish cuisine with the European flair to create some delicious food. These pastries pair well together with their coffee. How about a cinnamon roll that's made of croissant dough? Lots of other flairs with almond butter claws and apple strudel. The coffee speaks for itself. The richness of Spanish coffee and notes of cinnamon are just too much. So make sure and have another cup. The gentleman behind the counter had an award winning attitude. He shared the joys in making and serving here with his customers and local friends who come in most of the days. The style of the cafe is unique. It celebrates architectural styles from Mexico. The colors are beautiful and stand out as great as the coffee. Have coffee and other pastries with ease. The best of both worlds awaits you.

The coffee with sugar that I ordered was very good but not to order if you do not like really sweet drinks. In my opinion, this is the best bakery in Kentuckiana and one of the best kept secrets of places to go especially for a pastry.
