I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I paid over $10,000 for my son's veneers, trusting this dentist to do quality work. Not only did one of the veneers get messed up shortly after the procedure, but when he contacted the office to have it fixed, they refused to take responsibility or correct their mistake. For the amount of money we spent, I expected professionalism, care, and at least a willingness to make things right -- but instead, we were met with excuses and dismissiveness. I have been going to Dr Javaheri for 3 years, working with him on my teeth and spending over $10K. I drove 8 hours from out of town to see him for damage he had caused at a recent visit. I raised concerns about the damage he caused to my teeth by the aggressive shaving of cement he failed to remove between those teeth - which resulted in a noticeable gap between the teeth and gums, and questioned his suggested approach based on research that damaged gum tissue does not grow back. He immediately snapped at me and said 'ok then we're done here' and walks away while I'm still in the patient chair. He tells me to leave his office when I was being as respectful as possible, trying to have a conversation with him about my concerns. He continued to refused to discuss my concerns with me and stated he is the professional of 30 years and 'doesn't have to deal with this'. He then shut his office door on me and told his front desk receptionist to call the police. I didn't even raise my voice once, or refuse to leave and kept trying to de-escalate his egotistical reaction, asking him to help me after all the way I drove, time and money I spent. I have never been treated like this. Police arrived as I waited, I told them what had just happened and they agreed that the gap between my teeth does look pretty bad. I have never been treated like this. Impulsive and unprofessional dentist. Stay away from hard-headed professionals, a degree or experience doesn't mean they know it all. I am scientifically articulate, and any medical professional that doesn't stay up to date or acknowledge published research will only cause harm and mistreat patients by being so stuck in their own ways. For 25 years I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Javaheri. He is AMAZING, as is the hygienist I saw for cleanings, Maria. No issue with the professional services they provided. Unfortunately, the staff who now run the front office have proven to be incredibly difficult to work with (to the point of being straight out rude at times) which has prompted this review and me finding a new dentist. I travel extensively for my job, and having to schedule cleanings 6 months out is a challenge. I book the next appointment while I'm there for a cleaning and just hope that I will actually be in town on that date. Unfortunately, luck has not been on my side of late and I have had to cancel and try to reschedule the last few cleanings in a row. That would not in itself be a problem, except for the fact that the only means of canceling and rebooking is to telephone the office during their business hours. There are no online options, and replying to their "please confirm your appointment" email with a response other than confirming was not allowed, and I was reminded so when they charged me for an appointment I had in fact canceled by written notice. For someone like me who is frequently on a plane, in another time zone and generally booked solid during the day, I was really hoping for some more modern, convenient and flexible communication options. Instead, I got snarky, rude and inflexible staff who have driven me to the point of now changing dental practices. What a shame to lose a loyal patient, not because the quality of the service provided, but because the office staff are truly awful to deal with. read more

I've been a patient at this office for a long time but not anymore!! Please beware of Dino Javaheri's facade!! Unfortunately i found it the hard way but don't let it happen to you. I won't go into private details but even after paying almost $20K all upfront for a job that he totally messed up on, he showed absolutely no responsibility for several mistakes with the entire procedure and didn't even tired to do anything about them! He's comment was " he likes to do a job one time"! I say to that " we all do, but what if we make mistakes?!" He actually admitted to making them!! He's careless, insensitive and very unprofessional when, he has to deal with any mistakes that he himself was the cause of! I will report him to the ADA and will file a lawsuit. Dr. Javaheri is a miracle worker dentist. He is always polite and his knowledge and use of technology is amazing. Makes what could have been a tradegy with a cracked crown two days before Christmas an amazing experience. Prompt and competent. When making a consultation appointment, I asked if there was a fee for that appointment. I asked three times they said no. 2 months later they wanted to charge me $250. I had a problem with that so they waived it fast forward three years I call to make an appointment about veneers and bridges and they don't wanna have a business relationship because they had to waive the consultation fee three years ago. Front reception lady that works Tuesdays is rude, and Dino Java. Hari is dry and could care less about the patients needs. I highly recommend Dr. Javaheri if you are in need of dental work. He is a superbly talented dentist with years of experience and loads of wisdom. On my most recent trip he removed a damaged molar crown and replaced it with a new crown two hours later. His state of the art office equipment includes CadCam crown fabrication milling equipment. After precise scanning of the surrounding teeth coordinates and a small tooth site imprint is completed the data is loaded into the CadCam computer. A new crown is soon milled from a small porcelain block. It was a perfect fit and the most amazing experience to have a new crown installed 2 hours after the old crown was removed. Dr. Javahari administers pain injections without pain..! He is a terrific dentist and has such a friendly staff that you feel like family when they welcome you back. read more

Also their honesty because I've seen a few over the years who'd recommend complete re-do's of dental work. I've been seeing Dr. J for years and he's warm, caring, funny and honest. This is the best dentist I have ever been treated by. I have been a client for more than 10 years.
