However, after searching the country for a specific configuration Audi SQ5, I found it with Dino Motors. Dino provided the carfax, lots of photos, and a checkout report by Audi Stevens Creek. This was enough to get me to call. Dino was easy to talk to on the phone, explained any minor defects to me, and told me I could call back anytime. I called back the next day at noon. We negotiated an agreeable price, and I asked when I could fly down. I'm in Northern Idaho. I mentioned that I could be down about 7:30pm with current flights, and he agreed to pick me up. One of my flights was delayed, so I got in about 8:30pm. Dino picked me up at the airport from the airport in the SQ5, let me get behind the wheel, and we then inspected the car. The car checked out as good as advertised. This is always the risky part of flying in and driving a car home. Defects were previously disclosed, and there were no surprises. I was happy about that. We then went to his office, completed the paperwork (incoluding backup paperwork in case there was an issue with my DMV), and I was driving home by 10pm. The car performed flawlessly on the drive. Best Intimate Car Buying Experience! Let me first start off by saying how nice and down to earth Dino is. I called Dino when I saw he was selling a car in a particular color I had been looking for. I called him up to ask if it was still available. We set up a time for that following Monday to meet and test drive. He was very responsive through text which was a bonus because I'm a millennial and rarely communicates other than SMS. The day I met him, I was a little late because there was major traffic from sac. He was so understanding and patient. When I arrived, and I saw the car I couldn't believe how new it was. Kept in pristine shape and drove great. I told him I'll take it! And we worked on the paperwork portion of the buying experience. He was very knowledgeable and did all the DMV paperwork so I didn't have to. I was already pre-approved through my credit union which made it easier. We had a little issue with my credit union but it was no fault of Dino, but I'll say this; he knew I wasn't from the South Bay Area and really went above and beyond to make it easier for me as the buyer. For that, he has gained me as a loyal customer for life! And mind you, I bought my first and second car from east bay BMW in Pleasanton (I give them 4 stars) and then from Broadway Nissan (3 stars) in Redwood City, respectfully, and though both experiences were fine, buying from DINO is quite frankly better in my honest opinion. 5 stars. I purchased a 2015 Mustang GT in July from our local Ford dealership in Santa Rosa. During the recent wildfires here in Northern California I lost my new car. After searching for a new Mustang I settled on one that Dino had for sale. The test driving and buying experience was great, but what really stood out was what happened after my purchase. Both windows on the car made a terrible noise when rolling up and down. I was assured by Dino that it would be taken care of via warranty work through Ford. Well I took my car to Ford and they said it wasn't covered under warranty due to the fact that it was caused from the tint job on the windows. But like many other people, I had my concerns when dealing with small dealerships. Now that I have purchased my vehicle from Dino, I have to say the experience was very positive and my original concerns about small car dealerships absolutely did not apply to Dino. I was mostly worried about legitimacy of the vehicle and the trouble I as the buyer need to go through compared to a big dealership which I supposed would take care of everything for me. I was wrong. First time I met Dino during the test drive, he had all the paper work ready, about the car, ownership, service history, etc. So I was rest assure about the legitimacy of the vehicle. When I made my decision to buy the car, Dino took care of everything for me, even helped me to apply for my personalized license plate. All I needed to do was to hand him the check and pick up my car. He went to the DMV and took care of all the paper work for me and mailed the license plate and documents the very next day. On top of those things, Dino was better than your regular large car dealerships in two ways. First of all, he didn't push me at all, unlike other dealerships where they would try all the tricks in the world to make sale the first time they meet you. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I felt much more comfortable when not pressed to make decisions like car purchasing in the matter of 30 minutes. Second of all, his price was very competitive. Before I bought the car, I did my research and browsed just about every Lexus IS 250 sales post online in the Bay area, and test drove a few others and tried to bargain with the big name dealerships. But the price was still about $1-2k more expensive compared to Dino's, when the car condition is very much the same, if not worse. Overall, the experience is very positive. I had been looking for a Mercedes for my wife at various dealers and through the internet as our other Mercedes was totaled in an accident. During one of my internet searches I happened to see a Mercedes from Dino Motors that I was really interested in. I called Dino and talked to him about the car and he answered all my questions. He told me that I could text him if I had any other questions and when I did text him, he answered in a timely manner. I asked about his bottom line on the price of the car and I told him that I would buy the car at that price if my Mercedes mechanic gave it the thumbs up. Next I made an appointment to see the Mercedes and take it for a test drive. This Mercedes is a 2005 but it looks like a new car with only 44K miles on it, amazing! During the test drive we were talking about my mechanic and Dino said let's drive over to the mechanic since it wasn't too far from Dino's office. After talking to my mechanic, Dino came back later that day and left the car for the inspection. My mechanic called me in the early evening and gave the car the thumbs up. My wife and I went to Dino's a few days later on Saturday and purchased the car.
