First thing to note: there's currently no indoor seating. There are a few tables outside, but since it was cold, we ended up eating in the car which wasn't ideal. Ordering is done on tablets at the counter, and they have racks showing all the bagel flavors for the day, which I love because you can actually see your options. I got the steak & egg rack on a pretzel bagel with guac, and peppers/onions... really good. Flavorful, filling, and definitely the standout. Ryan got a ham breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel. It was good, but the jalapeño flavor didn't really come through, so it felt a little underwhelming. That bagel would be better on its own or paired with something else. We also grabbed a vanilla iced coffee and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch bagel, and everything came out to a little over $20, which is pretty average for breakfast around here. They're a local spot with limited hours (think breakfast/early lunch only), so timing matters and so does getting there before they run low on certain bagels. Overall: good food, decent pricing, and worth checking out just maybe plan ahead unless you're cool having a breakfast in the car moment.

Normally, my week gets off to a rocky start--especially on the Monday after a holiday--but today, on this Taco Tuesday, I turned it into a Terrific Tuesday. I decided to get some work done on the computer and then went to get my bike fixed. Mission accomplished: it's fixed, and I even fixed it myself! After that, it was time to go feed my hunger. I normally try to wait until noon to get my grub on, so I decided to head to the Bagel Boutique, grab a coffee, and see what these bagels were all about. Of course, just like anyone with a brain would do, I did my research first to see if it was a good place. Some PennLive articles popped up with awesome reviews, so I headed out. Being a New Yorker straight out of Manhattan, I have to say: these bagels were poop. They just tasted like the Thomas' bagels you can get from any grocery store. There was nothing special about them besides the creative toppings. I would never go out of my way to get a bagel from this place again. I wish I would've just ordered them on UberEats so I didn't have to waste gas money and time driving all the way from Harrisburg to Mechanicsburg. Honestly, I think the decor was better than the food itself. They should call it the "Boooo Boutique," because that's exactly what it is. Thumbs down. One star, and that's it. -Branden-Lee AKA B L E E

My friend is vegan and I'm on a keto diet so there's that option of making your own bowl and choosing what you like to have in it. I wasn't able to take a picture of what we got but it was really good. Only regret I had was that I wasn't able to finish the quinoa at the bottom of my bowl because I've to eat a specific portion . But bowl was large and plenty of shredded beef meat and salmon for protein and vegetables. We will definitely be back to try their other options.

Unfortunately, the quality of the cheesesteaks declined over time, but I was excited when they opened a new fish location here in Harrisburg. Until recently, I really enjoyed this spot because the quality and ingredients were consistently excellent. My latest experience, however, was highly disappointing. I placed an online order and received a text notification stating it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the food was not ready. I stood waiting for nearly 15 minutes, ringing the counter bell, but the staff ignored it. When someone finally appeared, I told them I was picking up an order. I was told it would be just a few more minutes because they were "waiting on the fries."After waiting another 7 minutes, I asked for an update. The employee immediately walked to the back counter and handed me a box that was already wrapped and sitting there. I hadn't heard anyone packaging food the entire time I stood there. When I got to my car and opened the container, the fries and the rest of the meal were completely wet and soggy from trapped condensation. It was obvious the food had been sitting out for at least 15 minutes while I was told it was still being cooked. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
