Try their salt and pepper shrimp, it delicious and crunchy. First of all the entire shrimp is friend with the shell on but it is so crispy that you don't mind eating it that way. It accompanied by some thinly sliced green peppers and diced garlic which make a perfect little "salsa". read more

You know it's legit when you see old Chinese ladies gathered around a table rolling up dumplings. Had this place bookmarked for the longest til I finally pulled the trigger to go. We bought some Salt and Pepper shrimp, pot stickers, and a combination plate. Salt and Pepper shrimp was delicious and succulent. Pot stickers were the best I've had in Fresno and obviously made fresh. And the combination plate with orange chicken, fried rice, and chowmein had great flavor. Glad they had more than one person at the register which cut down on the waiting time. The restaurant looked clean but not somewhere you can sit down and eat as they don't have any tables. Definitely my new go to spot for Chinese food in Fresno. read more

For being a small take out chinese place in a small strip mall, I have to say its pretty good. We have been getting food here for about 12 years. Its only gotten better over the years. It has become my favorite chinese food establishment. read more

Good lord..can't even finish my food before leaving a review. Hands down worst "Chinese" food in Fresno! Ordered the combo plate which comes with "pork chowmein", fried rice and choice of side which I picked orange chicken. This is NOT chowmein! These are flubbery, plain flavorless noodles..with 3pc of pork sitting on top. Fried rice has a burned after taste...like it was cooked in a pan where they previously burned food! Getting lunch for tomorrow. Grilled chicken chop suey over noodles, made spicy and veggie pot stickers ordered too! The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant is clean, safe and practiced. Small! Definitely the kind of place that you pick up and go. The order was ready. Paid for it and left. Okay service. It smelled really good! Lunchtime! Next day!Order split with lots of leftovers. It comes with A LOT of food! Many meals! My lunch portion of the chicken chop suey was really delicious! Chicken cooked perfectly! The food is fresh and tasty, but I expect more than one egg foo young patty when I order the combo with egg foo young as the main course. 2? A sh!t ton of rice isn't what I paid for. $24 on DoorDash for a plate and I get one egg foo young patty made of sprouts and eggs. No thanks. read more

Thanks YELP for this gem. We were traveling in Fresno and a huge craving for Chinese food. Yelp had said this little spot had pretty good ratings so we thought we would try it. We got 2 combo plates, the food was tasty. I will say the chow mein noodles were interesting. So they looked super greasy and were crispy and soft all at the same time. They served me 2 plates of raw pot stickers, the meat in the middle was still very pink. I gave them a call just to let them know so they're aware, and tried explaining that I'm 9 months pregnant and consumed the raw meat, and they hung up on me. read more

The food tasted pretty good. It was a good portion and for a good price. However I didn't really like the rice and had to wait 45 minutes for my food. I don't blame the workers. They were pumping out orders nonstop. People from door dash and Uber kept coming in and pushing their orders. I may try again but definitely keeping the time frame in mind. It's to go orders only and a bit noisy inside the store but the workers were nice. read more

I wasn't impress by what I ordered and what I saw this time around. I got black bean chicken and the chicken tasted like rubber. Kinda like when chicken has been reheated in a microwaved. I also noticed cooked meat sitting out in a bucket under a counter. Which makes me wonder how fresh is their product? The lobby area is not inviting. However, the service is friendly. read more

I normally order sizzling rice soup and I ordered 2 orders. Both came back so mushy! I tried it and it was like eating snot the consistency. Instantly went in the trash. I have had this happen a few other times but for the most part the broth should be clear and not thick like mucous. Very disappointed. read more

I have been going here decades. The food was always so delicious, so inexpensive and nice people. A price increase would've been easily rationalized in my continued patronage. The same kindly couple take my order and support in cooking the food but it seems there are new advisers, maybe the younger generation thinking they know better, taking on more decisions and other hands additionally in the kitchen now and the food is different. As a general observation, entree dishes like egg foo young are now less egg, more flour, less flavor. The dinners are now served in plastic bento style containers that don't retain heat and maximize the portions of filler foods (rice or noodle) over entre items. It isn't the Ding Ho of old. The legacy died with ownership change. read more

I ordered food online to be delivered. Received a confirmation text, then another text to tell me my food would be delivered in approximately 20 minutes. 15 minutes later I received yet another text informing me that my order had been canceled, and it may take 5-10 days to receive my refund. I called the restaurant several times and got no answer...no one picked up the phone. My husband drove to the restaurant to talk to them. He found the doors locked, but could see people moving around preparing food. They looked at him but refused to answer the door and let him in. Despite having enjoyed good Chinese food from this restaurant in the past, I will NEVER order from them again. Totally unprofessional behavior. read more

I've been patronizing Ding Ho for over 12 years. Despite the change in ownership, I've found the quality to remain the same. I was a little hesitant initially when new owners came in as they usually signal a negative change in quality. While some may have experienced this, I saw no change in the quality of the food. Orange Chicken was still great as was the pork fried rice. I have not experienced the service since the change as we usually have it delivered. read more

This very popular place only does take out. It's reliably good Chinese food. There's a Panda not too far away. They simply are not as reliable. They must have a large clientele, because there's always somebody there. It's not fancy, but it's good. They have a number of people working to keep up with the orders. read more

We been coming here for years today was my Last. They sold to new owners and they have changed the way the food was made . Fried rice was cold and no flavor I even ask for extra egg and extra pork paid for it but did not receive it. potstickers were cold and tasteless pork chop chewy chow mein I ordered extra green beans, snow, peas, asparagus. There is five pieces of green beans, a little bit of snow peas, and a few asparagus but I paid extra but it had a lot of cabbage too much filler, the noodles have changed. Also they have changed the containers. They serve the food in and by the time you get home, the food is ice cold I do not recommend this place any longer. It's very sad that a business has been there for years sells out, and the new buyers change the recipes to make more money. Very sad. read more

After eating here 2 years ago, we decided to give it another try in the hope that they improved. No such luck. It only got worse. This place truly has the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Chewy, dried chicken. Pork as tough as leather. Anyone who gives this place any rating higher than 2 stars obviously has deadened taste buds. We ordered delivery and the portions were huge! The kung pao with chow mein was honestly the best I've had in town. It easily fed two people and was full of flavor! The pan fried noodles on the other hand were pretty bland. I'll be back for the kung pao though! read more

It looked run-down, but we noticed they were handling a lot of delivery and pickup orders, and the phone rang frequently. Service was good but somewhat slow; it seemed they prioritize online and phone orders. I ordered the Ginger Chicken, and the portions are huge. They also bring a small complimentary soup, and I believe they make the noodles from scratch in-house. The chicken had real slices of ginger and was very tasty. I'd go back again. Don't let the strange area or the weird ambiance stop you. The food is good. Just don't go in expecting perfection, and you'll enjoy it.
