My friends and I stumbled across this karaoke bar after dinner, and decided to check it out for drinks! The service was really good, and the drinks as well :) We also graced the bar with our subpar singing skills, but it was a very fun experience and I would definitely come back again! The ambiance is really nice, and I really enjoyed the lights and Christmas decorations :)

Cute little karaoke bar in Japantown - we stumbled across this spot after the original bar we were going to was closed and ended up staying for longer than planned. The ambiance is a bit chaotic but full of energy and I enjoyed our drinks and listening to others sing their hearts out.

The vibes here were fun earlier in the night, but as it got past 11 and very busy, the DJ got too drunk. He was skipping people's songs (which were paid for), turned people's music off halfway through their (again, paid for) songs, and then started taking bribes to get people's song requests higher up on the list. I understand that some songs are boring or performers aren't that good, but they paid for their time up there and were not given refunds. Thankfully my friends and I were able to request our songs and MOST of them got played, though some were skipped or not called at all in the 2.5 hours that we were there. Also, there were TV screens everywhere warning people to watch their drinks to avoid getting roofied. Despite being in a group of about 12, one of my friends did end up getting drugged. Not the bar's fault, but definitely keep an eye out. I was recommended this place by a friend, and that friend no longer recommends it to others based on those experience. From the other reviews, I know the owner doesn't respond well to criticism. Don't bother insulting me in the replies. I don't care.

This place always such a fun time! Cozy atmosphere, friendly people, great vibe. I find a lot of SF "night out" spots are kinda stiff - Dimples is the opposite... laid back, loose, and fun. Only complaint would be I wish it was easier to find seating, but I get that it's a small space. Will def keep coming back

It comes with a real dumpling! * Mango Sago = I really liked this one - tastes exactly like mango with coconut and has a few mochi for fun. * Ube Cheesecake = yummy dessert cocktail that is fairly thick so commit (it's worth it) The food is really unique as well - I highly suggest the deviled egg sampler. The atmosphere is very lounge like with chill vibes. Service is great.

The escape room is Alice In Wonderland themed and includes three drinks as part of the experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but were held in a waiting room for about 30 min before we could start. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing the escape room but it was also the week of their biz anniversary so maybe they were just super busy. Phoenix led our escape room and was such a delight. Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

We started dinner with oysters. They were fresh, clean and the beet chili jam sauce was very vibrant. It was a great combination of flavors. There was also a layer of what seemed to be finely processed mushrooms under the ikura which added a nice texture. The egg yolk added a richness and creaminess throughout the dish. The chirashi don was $53 and did taste great, albeit sushi rice with amaebi, ikura, and uni is hard to make badly. But, the bowl was literally 6 inches across and came with maybe 6 sheets of commercial seasoned nori. Not worth the splurge! The fries and burger shared the melted cheese sauce, which was basically a fancy velveeta. The burger did have a nice blush in spite of being served in a pool of bubbling cheese saucy. It was all just fine but egregious at $15 and $28 dollars. It does look nice for the gram, but is a bit overwhelming in terms of cheese. The best bite for me was the tebasaki, which were crispy and had a sweet yuzu kosho glaze. I could eat many of these, but the $19 plate had 4 wings (flats with tip attached). This was an overpriced, average meal at best. I am personally don't drinking alcohol, so I did enjoy the jasmine fermented tea I had. We left hungry and out $262 for 4 drinks and small bites shared among a group of 4. I would skip food and just get drinks if I came again.
