From the very beginning, the estimate process was smooth, clear, and professional. They took the time to explain my options and helped me choose the right Mitsubishi system for my home without any pressure. The installation itself was efficient and well-organized. The crew showed up on time, kept everything clean, and completed both the heat pump install and duct replacement with great attention to detail. You can tell they really know what they're doing. What really stood out was how seamless the whole process was--from the initial estimate all the way through permits and final inspection. Everything was handled properly, and I didn't have to stress about any part of it. Overall, a very professional and reliable team. I highly recommend Element Home Solutions if you're considering a heat pump or ductwork upgrade.

They tries selling us a ridiculously expensive duel fuel system and a bunch of other extras we didn't need. Cesar came over from Element and was the first and only of the 5 or so companies I had give a bid that was honest and directed me towards a all electric heat pump system. After doing a lot of research we came to the decision to go with Element. They replaced our whole system, new ducting, zoned the system, and removed the old insulation in the attic, sealed everything, and installed new insulation with our new HVAC System. I was very please with the professionalism, communication, and overall work performance of Element and the crew. Cesar was at the project the whole time which I very much appreciated. He isn't just the person who puts together bids, he was up in the attic helping the crew complete the job. That was a nice surprise and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend them and will most likely used them in the future to insulate our crawlspace.

They clearly had a vision for our yard that was informed by a wealth of experience. Unfortunately they came back with an estimate we couldn't afford, but helpfully offered to scale back the plans to make them much more affordable. I mention all this because we decided to go with a guy to just do plans, which we hoped to implement gradually over time. Big mistake! The plans were expensive and unusable because the guy didn't truly understand the complexity of landscaping. I wish we'd gone with magic gardens from the start, as they clearly grasped the nuances of light and growth and brought artistry and passion to the process.

They clearly wanted to deliver my dream garden while working with me to stay within my budget, involving me extensively in the process of design, plant selection, and placement, going so far as to save the wildflowers we had planted. I appreciated their vast knowledge of plants that would do well in our climate and soil conditions. All workers were friendly, considerate, and respectful of our property, and the work was completed surprisingly quickly for such a large job. Although it wasn't cheap, the pricing and billing was explained in detail with full transparency, work was done efficiently, and the project came in under budget. Now I just have to sit back and watch things grow!

(Side note...I never write Yelp reviews, nor was asked to write this, nor got any discounts to write this. I just felt obligated to share my pure joy.) JB Townsend is no casual painting crew. They have a hands on management team that has experience in corporate level facilities management, so they have been held to standards much higher than residential real estate. Their understanding of interior design, construction, and paint materials/options gives them the advantage over everyone. Their whole crew, who was at our home for a week, was professional, organized, and respectful of our home (during covid). They were even very friendly to our children and dog. Their pricing is absolutely fair for the premier quality level of work they deliver. You will not be disappointed and most likely finding yourself inspired to write a Yelp review to express your appreciation.

Chris gave us a thoughtful estimate with good suggestions for cleaning and staining the wood. They were not cheap, but the work was absolutely outstanding. The crew used a pressure cleaner, a wood brightener, and sanding to prepare the surfaces. The stain was applied slowly by brush. The lead painter, Juan, was amazingly careful and paid great attention to detail. Chris came by every day to check on the progress and, in a few cases, asked for further work to take care of small problems we had not noticed. They also stained some wood trim that we had not included in the original bid. Our siding now looks like new. Thank you Townsend for doing such a great job!

If only 0 stars was an option…read more... Please do not purchase a voucher for duct cleaning from this company. I did (through Amazon local - although the business name listed was Fresh Breeze Air Duct cleaning which actually has some decent reviews on Yelp). The technician who came to my home was polite, professional, on time, etc. so we got off to a great start. But he immediately started finding major things wrong with my heat system that made it "impossible" for him to clean the ducts. In total, over $700 of repairs (and I was "lucky my house hadn't burned down" because of my furnace). When I balked at the estimate, the price immediately dropped to $500. When I said I wanted to get some other estimates since this was the first I'd heard about the issues, his entire tone and demeanor changed and he got pretty aggressive. I felt nervous having him in our home at that point and asked him to leave without even putting things back together. Today I had a reputable heating service come in and take look. They agreed that some of the work should be done, but the total bill is going to be $300 and I just have a much better feeling about the quality of work. And, by the way, they told me that the work that needed to be done had nothing to do with being able to clean the ducts - it would have been fine for him to do that part. So in the end, I got $0 of value from my $69 voucher (which Amazon Local was good enough to refund). Just a really stressful morning. Save yourself the trouble!

I would love to put these guys out of business... at least Amazon gave me my $49 dollars back, but I'm still out $150 for the additional 10 minutes of work they did on my 6 vents! Dean's has got some bad karma coming their way for sure!! I've never written a bad review for anything before but I REALLY don't want this to happen to another person. They don't even deserve 1 star. I've tried to contact them numerous times but to no avail. They were subcontracted by Duct Cleaning Services. I think this also reflects badly on them by the way. They were not helpful either. This is a very short version of a very long & stressful experience.

Yes the house had some issues and would need some work. But with him in the mix the everything soon got way out of control... I should have known form the start when he was kind of rude and short with me over the phone. He had a sort of "take it or leave it" attitude. But then once we got into contract he really started working on his incompetence. Days would go by before he returned phone calls or email enquiries. Then he did not furnish the property for inspection until after our 17 day inspection period had expired. He then said "don't worry about it" and give us verbal permission to extend the inspection period. OK.. we thought.. Eventually we found out what was wrong with the house. Which were many, many things and a trashed foundation as well! (Which I think he had known about all along...but did not say anything). We told him because of the foundation problem we could not get a loan and so the deal was off. At this point he told us he was keeping our good faith money of $5000 because we had taken too long to inspect the house. But it was him that had caused all the delays. We had some back and fourth and then he just stopped communicating in any way! Lucky my realtor had kept every single email that he had sent. And was kind enough to spend hours of his time putting together a detailed timeline. Which clearly showed that the delays in inspection were because of Vinny's incompetence. We put all this together and sent a copy to him and his office. But all we got from them was some crazy response along the lines of "that's just too bad but we are keeping your money anyway" I think he thought we would just give up on it and so he would get to keep if for himself. Because if a party does not keep protesting to the title company after 5 years it goes to the other party. Which would be him. Anyway in the end we had to go all the way up to the government office of the Homepath listings. We submitted all the emails from Vinny and his "team" and a detailed timeline. This clearly showed that he was responsible for the inspection delay. The Hompath manager agreed with us and made him finally release my Good Faith money of $5000. After about four months of stress and frustration! Working with this crazy guy was a disaster from start to finish. Maybe he is only interested in helping his Asian clients. But for my realtor and I he was a total nightmare. * * * B E W A R E * * *
