So, I called a highly rated AC company in the Bryant area. They came out and told my that my compressor would need to be replaced with a new system. The next morning I received a quote for 6k from them. I decided to have Cracker Jack perform a 2nd opinion, and within minutes they determined that the compressor was not the issue with a power surge that was noticed. The issue was just a fan replacement! They did not bad mouth the other company, but showed alot of class by stating they could see why the other technician was mistaken. Cracker Jack did a fantasic job for me again. I cannot recommend them enough!

Crackerjack installed unnecessary parts (the wires were not even connected) and an incorrect part causing my condenser motor to overheat and shut down. Crackerjack offered to return and repair the motor for another $630. Thankfully, i did not allow them to return and I got a second opinion from a reputable HVAC contractor and found out about the fraudulent repairs. Once the correct part was installed from a reputable HVAC contractor, my unit has been working perfectly.

I bought the maintenance program but was not told that they won't come on Saturdays when I purchased it. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and am undergoing treatment during the day. I asked if they could come out on Saturday to do the maintenance just this once and they said no. I explained I was in treatment and undergoing chemo and radiation and just needed help this one time and they still said no. A little kindness goes a long way. I will remember this.
