I can't recommend SMI Demolition highly enough. I received three bids for our project, and SMI…read morestood out from the beginning -- they were incredibly prompt and responsive during the bidding process, and their pricing was competitive. Once we hired them, they handled the entire project professionally from start to finish, including permitting and inspections. They showed up when they said they would, kept everything moving, and did an unbelievable job overall. I was so happy with their work that I've already hired them for a second project, and I fully expect to use them again for several upcoming projects. It's rare to find a contractor who is this responsive, reliable, fairly priced, and easy to work with. Highly recommend SMI Demolition.

Pablo recently completed a full removal of my in-ground pool. The job started sometime late July…read moreand finished on August 21st. He also removed lots of trees and their stumps on my property as well. I'd been wanting to get rid of the pool for years but I've never been comfortable with big home projects, so I kept putting this off. I got multiple bids but went with Pablo because his price was not only very competitive but he also put me at ease from the start and throughout the project. He and his helper showed up practically every day and worked eight or nine hours at a time, even through the July and August heat when it was over 100 degrees. They just kept at it until it was done. They were considerate and careful during the demolition and trees removal so I'd no issues with my neighbors. My 90-something year old neighbor said she barely heard any noise lol. They always asked before doing anything, and when I was on my work trip, Pablo would text me photos so I could see the progress. He also let me know when inspections were coming. Wish I had known about this company years ago so I could have gotten rid of my pool sooner.

At first I was leery of Legacy Demolition because it didn't have many online reviews. But I chose…read morethem for a pool removal, and now I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Here's why I changed my mind: 1. They're competitively priced. Every time I've asked them to do work for me, they've been significantly lower than other quotes/estimates. At first I thought there must be a catch. But as I vetted them, I concluded that they were legit--they're just a relatively new company and they have a lean operation, so they're willing and able to cut good deals for their customers. 2. I like them and trust them. They're easy to talk with and work with. I was leery about loud demolition noises waking up my family, and they accommodated me. They've gone above and beyond to help me see what different options could look like (e.g., they invited me to see a nearby pool removal they were doing, they lent me samples of artificial turf when I told them I was interested in artificial turf, they helped me decide on the turf that would look nicest, and they didn't charge me extra for it). They didn't make big decisions or changes without talking with me. They've been reliable, hardworking, and transparent. 3. I like their work. They want to do a good job, not just check a box, and they're not out to cheat or gouge me on pricing. See the before and after photos to get a feel for their work! I had wanted to remove my pool to get rid of the safety hazard for my kids. And Legacy Demolition did that. But even more, they gave us a lovely place where our kids can run and play and giggle safely. And for that, we're grateful.

I just wanted the weeds and grass gone. I had been planning to renovate my backyard and driveway…read morefor at least 2 years. I shopped around and got 7 different bids. CIP wasn't the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but their responsiveness and communication set them apart. Humberto was responsive from the beginning, answered my questions, and, more importantly, gave me thoughtful answers to the questions I was actually asking. That made a huge difference in my decision to hire them. I'm very analytical. This was a large project, around 1,800 sq ft of work between the backyard and driveway, but the entire process caused surprisingly little disruption. Even the demolition, unloading materials didn't disrupt my neighbors much, and the project stayed on schedule. What impressed me most after everything was completed were the finishing details. Things most people probably wouldn't notice immediately, the placement of the fasteners in the turf, the edges and transitions, and how the perimeter of the pavers sits flush against the fence. Those little details are what make the finished project look professionally done instead of simply "finished." It looks like a part of the planning of the house now. And the transformation has been incredible. Before this project, our backyard was largely unusable for my family. I was basically the only person who spent much time back there, mostly working wiht the weeds. Now it has become a space that my wife and kids can actually enjoy and I reclaimed time with my family. I probably get a compliment on the yard at least once a week. Not sure why I can't add photos to this review because the before-and-after difference really tells the story. I did post photos with my Google review if you want to see the transformation. After spending two years researching contractors and getting multiple bids, I can confidently say I made the right choice. Hire Humberto and CIP Pavers

There were all kinds of material to remove and LOTS of it, including some very heavy machinery and equipment. The space was crowded and a mess, but they were able to get everything cleared out in just three days. One thing we didn't originally expect was that a wall separating the space also needed to be removed. That added some additional work and increased the initial cost, but Thor explained what was involved and kept us informed throughout the job. We had checked with three different haulers before deciding on Sons of Odin, and their quote was the fairest of the three. They showed up, worked hard, and kept us updated throughout the process. Given the size and difficulty of the job, we were relieved with how smoothly everything went. I would definitely recommend Sons of Odin if you have a large cleanout or hauling job. Before we worked with Bert, this was a huge issue every time it rained, as water would sleep through the cracks into the crawlspace below. Other contractors wanted us to redo the entire porch, but Bert suggested a more conservative option of redoing only the really bad areas and touching up the rest. He and his crew were super careful to make sure dust didn't get into the house, covering all the windows and porch with plastic before they got to work. Bert also fixed another part of our brick pathway that was sunk lower than the ground level and made it look good as new. During the last few rains, we haven't seen any water seeping below and the porch looks much better aesthetically as well. Bert was great to work with, highly recommend him and his company!!
