The attitude has changed at Dillons....use to be a customer oriented, but that is no longer the case, substitution policy has changed from just last week, wasn't aware of it, until they were out of my Dr K orange pop, (my husband is on Hospice, My Granddaughter is living with me, with her baby and she has a full time job, and also does my shopping for me...so any convenience we can get from Dillons is greatly appreciated)...apparently the manager (Erica) has taken upon herself to no longer honor the substitution policy, ...and when I called to inquire, I was told that is just the way she does it...I explained the situation, and wanted to know some details, like when did this start, and how long had she been there, and she wouldn't communicate with me, and hung up when I pressured her into when and why...and became irritated because I was asking a few simple questions...I was just wondering if there was a reason, did it come down from corporate...I was asking because sometimes these things can be remedied or there is a misunderstanding between employees and the management...anyway, there have been other incidents, such as not being able to use a coupon on a woohoo item, and they use to honor that, also the buy one get one free vitamins policy changed, if you only want one or they only have one, they would charge the half price for the vitamins...which was a great help, for instant if the total cost for 2 bottles was $20.00, and they only had one, the charge would be $10.00...not now...you get charged the full $20.00 for the one bottle....so they are pulling away from being that's our Dillons, customer is first, to money grubbing, I will be spending my hard earned money elsewhere) read more
