But this place has a lot of wine, not "just beer", and lower prices on a lot of the wines that I was used to having to drive into Wichita for. We didn't get the laws to allow grocery stores to sell wine, but now we have a nice clean place next door to the grocery store (I don't believe it was a coincidence, either.). Everyone I have seen working there has always been friendly and very helpful to suggest, or even take order requests for products they didn't have. I've checked in a few days or weeks later and the suggested items are there in stock, so that makes me feel valued. Per ADA only 2 questions are allowed when asking about a service animal. Without being asked, proceeded to make mention my animal was an alert dog to a disability (seizure detection). From there, the lady with the funky eyeliner further denied service and told us to leave. We walked out, I loaded my dog up and walked back into the building with the ADA website in hand. Lady fought me i. it, told me they're a privately owned business (which doesn't exclude them from mistreatment), told me to look up with the health department and that I "wasn't going to win this". She then threatened to have me trespassed and to have the cops called. I did storm out muttering a profanity. The lady proceeded to follow me out continuing to taunt me as if it was a game. Ugly behavior, ugly service, and ultimately not accommodating

This shop carries a good quality of tea. Their blinder, who I am guessing is not in house, is very knowledgeable. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the quality. The staff I have met are very cordial and ready to serve. The store is very small. More than three people would make it cramped. I believe, which does not make it fact, that the balk of their business is online orders. The only reason I gave four stars rather than five is because the store hours are very limited, only a couple days a week. And because of the store's location, somewhat out of the way.

In a city like Wichita, Chelmsford is that rare hidden gem that truly provides high quality products with great service. Their tea is also all certified organic with naturally derived flavors...all for a fraction of the cost of Teavana (seriously, two ounces at Teavana cost me $20...the same tea at Chelmsford was $7!). The atmosphere of Chelmsford is great too, especially since the staff is extremely knowledgeable and puts on numerous entertaining tea tasting events throughout the year for all of us tea lovers. And did I mention the "Tea of the Day"? All it takes is a purchase of a Chelmsford mug and you get to taste TWO different teas every day for the whole year. I have experienced so many new teas I never would have tried and it's so fun to see my favorite employees every day! Other things you can experience at Chelmsford: 1) Fresh hot tea! Brew a cup or a pot and hang out with your friends for a while. Also you can get free samples while you shop. 2) A HUGE selection of loose leaf and "Republic of Tea" teas. The staff is also great about recommendations 3) Follow them! On Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. You can find out what the Tea of the Day is in advance and also get coupons and find out about sales. 4) Get tea shipped right to you! They do online ordering and direct delivery. I've been getting my tea at Chelmsford for over four years now and I've never been disappointed. I'll be coming back for many years in the future!

What a gem you have there in Wichita, KS! We were passing through town and what a fantastic joint…read morewe had found at the elderslie farm restaurant. Everything was exceptional. Started off with a wonderful fresh herbaceous salad with crisp asparagus and a lively house made vinegar dressing. Although the menu described it as a soup, we were still very happy with what this course and we enjoyed it immensely. The homemade bread was beautifully crafted and had subtle Indian spiced tones. It was warm and fresh. The second course was 3 perfectly cooked scallops on a bed of heavenly mushrooms and oats with a light mushroom sauce. 10/10! I could eat that everyday and it would not become tiresome! For the entree, I had the short ribs, which were melt in your mouth delicious. Meanwhile husband enjoyed the beautifully prepared pork belly. Deserts were not a let down at all. Notably the Carmel sauce and rich chocolate torte was perfectly balanced. We did enjoy the wine pairings, although did wonder why the establishment would choose to serve a heavy red with the scallop course. However it did seem to work in some degree. Points of refinement: I wish the server was more educated on the wines we were served. For example she could only tell us it's a great Cabernet. And when probed for more information, she was not prepared to explain more. Additionally a more detailed explanation about the courses, the ingredients, and the preparation would have been so appreciated. And wrapping up leftovers as a service should be customary. Small points of refinement would elevate the dining experience. The restaurant is warm and welcoming with an abundance of natural light. The decor is beautiful and inviting. The farmhouse factor definitely screams fresh. I hope the chef continues on their journey as this was an unexpected experience not soon to be forgotten. It really was a 5 star meal and i look forward to returning here should I ever return to Wichita.
