I've been shopping at Dillard's since the early 90s... I've also been in St Pete since 1993.. I go to Dillard's to buy my makeup at the Clinique counter... Unfortunately, one of the girls who had work there for 15 years.. Moved back to Japan last year. THANKFULLY, there are other girls who run the counter... And if there is no one on the counter at the time... EVERYONE else Jumps in from other counters to help out the customers.. I love how SWEET, knowledgeable and helpful.. EVERYONE ALWAYS is.. This is by far the nicest clothing store in Tyrone Mall, the only reason this got 4 stars and not 5 are the prices! This is NOT a store to shop when on a budget, I came in for Black Friday and it was packed with shoppers for a change, normally Dillard's is not very busy. I ended up with a super adorable white sheer blouse and navy blue skinny pants, had this not been Black Friday and because it is an expensive name brand, these 2 items would have cost me $110, but because of the big sale they were both only $36, the savings was really good! So good that I walked back thru on my way to the car and bought workout gym gear that was drastically on sale and a pair of jeans. All of the sales people they had today were helpful and very polite, I will return for next Black Friday for sure. read more

We were looking for suits for our college age daughter. Brooke on the 2nd floor was awesome! Melissa helped as well! So pleased with the layout of the clothes and organization. Brook was very helpful with ideas and thoughts on how the clothes fit (or didn't). Both Melissa and Brooke listened to Jessica and found sizes and different combination of colors for her to try on. Brooke ordered a size online for us that wasn't in the store. Both were very helpful and friendly to others in the store as well. Will go there again for sure! read more

I stopped by a month ago and was impressed by their care concerning Covid. Everything was clean, constantly wiped down and lots of sanitizer around. (I was exasperated with the Mac counter at Macy's so I went to Dillards.) I ended up with Kevin at the Origins make-up counter. Went back today and I have to tell you he is so helpful, full of information but not pushy. He listens and makes recommendations that make sense. Shopping is effortless. Kevin is an asset to your company. Kudos also to the entire cosmetic team because they made me feel very welcomed in a genuine way. read more

Great stylin' shirts for guys, but some VERY expensive. Whenever ibmake it to this store, I go straight to the section with the really nice shirts as they are fairly unique and occasionally on sale. The attached indoor mall provides other options. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I have never been so disgusted by a store's online shopping department. I placed an order for a dress for graduation online. It has been 3 days since I placed my order and I have not been given any shipping information at all! After calling customer service 3 times nothing has been done and I still have no clue where my dress is and when it is coming. I am utterly disappointed in Dillards and will not be coming back! Frank in the Men's department was exceptional. Good old fashioned service that you don't find in department stores anymore. The store ended up with a $850 + sale because of his attention to detail and customer service skills. Amazon may have cheaper prices but they don't have the one on one relationship that a brick and mortar store can still provide. Great job Frank. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to the awesome ladies upstairs in the dress department. They were both helpful and friendly. The dress selection is nice and varied, selection is larger than at the Macy's here. Prices are not bad either for most dresses--I don't know about you, but I'm not about dropping $200-300 for a dress I will wear less than once per year. I'm glad I went upstairs before leaving the store. Actually, it seemed like the whole second level was women's clothing. I don't shop at the mall often, but I will definitely come back to Dillard's to browse/buy if I am in need of formal event wear. read more

My grandma always raves about Dillard's and it had become a family joke, but this was my first time actually in one and it was really nice. It was clean and organized and the sales associates were exceptionally helpful. The women's section was very large and divided up into designers instead of clothing type, so it was a little difficult to find specific things - for example, this visit we were looking for formal wear, and looking for it in the women's section was like a scavenger hunt. Only being able to take three garments into a dressing room at a time made it a little difficult too, although the associate was very, very kind and lenient with us. It's located a little out of the way in the mall, at the end of a wing, but that's a given with any mall. It is very clean and organized, unlike other stores in this same location. read more

I'm a regular Dillard's shopper. I went to their New Years Day Sale and it was a total fiasco to say the least. Management needs to have a better system in the shoe department. It is not fair to other shoppers when you have people standing in line to get a size and mate to a shoe and allow women to bring fifteen pairs of shoes up there at a time!! Please put s limit on the number of shoes they can get mated at a time! The purse department was even worse. Women were being allowed to buy 10-15 purses even though there was a 6 purse limit. I asked the clerk why this was being allowed and she said it wasn't worth arguing with them. WHERE was management once again. These people were clearly resellers and beyond rude!! I'm all for entrepreneurship but not when they're allowed to stampede others with their rolling carts which should not be allowed. These rolling carts are a danger to other shoppers by creating a trip and fall hazard!! Dillard's can you not see a lawsuit coming. Now to the Christmas department. I was shocked to see such disorganization and again the resellers snatching and grabbing while leaving many broken unsellable ornaments in their path!! Don't throw all of the breakable ornaments in boxes for people to dig through, leave them on the trees! The dressing rooms were another fiasco! Not sure where these women got these plastic white tubs that they were literally filling to running over and they could hardly carry. Allowing them to take these into the dressing rooms was just absolutely ridiculous! If management doesn't step up and do some limiting of items and get control of these rude people I will never shop in a Dillard's again. I'm sure I won't be the only one either!! I can guarantee you they had as much merchandise walk out the door unpaid for as what they sold! read more

Terrible customer service by Andrea in the juniors department. She yelled out in front of a bunch of customers that my credit card was declined. It was only declined because when she was putting in the information she put the billing and shipping information wrong. It didn't match the address used for my credit card so my card was declined. Not only did she yell out that my card was declined but she also refused to ring me up once she realized she made a mistake. Management was informed and they did nothing about it. They even witnessed her refusing to ring me up.very unprofessional. When I called corporate office they wouldn't even return my call. read more

We have visited the men's section of Dillard's twice in a month. Both times associates were very helpful. They were able to measure on the spot, and knew exactly where specific merchandise brands were located. The men's shoe associate was also very knowledgeable about shoes and fashion. The Juniors dress section has a large selection. I try to wait until after Homecoming and Prom seasons so I can catch nice dresses on sale. The clearance racks can be a bit messy but it is worth hunting through them. This Dillard's has many makeup counters (Clinique and Mac to name a couple). This area of the store is very well lit. The makeup associates seem very friendly and willing to help. read more

For Tyrone Mall, Dillards is the best option. The sales lady in the dress department is always helpful and doesn't mind carrying my stuff all over the place til I find what I need. I would give 5 stars, but International Plaza takes it up a notch, so 4 stars is all i can give out now. Dillards at Tyrone is so convenient, especially if you need one or two things. Went in again for clothing. Still not any better. Perhaps they are preparing to close. I had a selection of 3 night wear that was all. The selection is absolutely awful. Not much traffic in the store. I will continue to make the long drive to International Mall and see Evelyn and the clothes there what a selection and so much better. So sad though I used to love to go to Dillards on my way from the VA, pop in and do my shopping. No more unless things improve greatly I am afraid. I hope Dillards stays in business I love the Southern Living Brand for the house so beautiful. read more
