I entered the mall thru Dillards east. They have to of the anchor store spots. The other is on the west side. What I noticed as most people in there were using it as a passage into the mall like me. They had exactly the shoes I wanted in the Women's shoe department. Service was somewhat chaotic, but I got in and out pretty quickly and would have received help however I needed it. Price was standard, and since they were popular Uggs, there wasn't any discount (even though I did ask just in case). I appreciate that I can still go into a store, try on shoes, and get exactly what I want within 20 minutes. read more

The staff and workers at Dillard's are adequate and welcoming. They are not the issue, the issue is management. I have never seen such horrible lack of communication in a professional setting where staff and workers do not entirely know what is happening. Of course, this was not an ideal situation with COVID-19 occurring. Everyone understands that this was uncharted territory, but it was handled horribly when compared to other stores at the mall. In fact, they were the lone store open at the mall, leading to believe they do not care about the safety of their employees which stems from management of course. Comments were left on diallards social media with concern over safety for employees during covid-19. These comments saw no response and after time, Dillard's turned off the commenting option which shows it's followers it chooses to ignore the problem instead of have a response to it. Comments overheard by upper management towards staff were passive aggressive and uncalled for, it was the type of behavior you see in middle and high school not by 40 year old men and women. Always a fan of this larger dillards in the OKC metro. If only all departments were in the same building! On the East side of the mall dillards men, childrens and home are together. If you go to the west side of the mall its all the womens department. This location definitely carries more brands than Quail springs plus their selection is just greater. I really enjoy this location home department they carry just about every different kind of towel on this universe and have a ton of luggage options! Don't ever pay full price though wait for their sales - they are good I promise! I bought my first couch at this dillards and still to this day it was my favorite couch I ever had! Comfiest couch and it was a great price. They carry excellent furniture brands such as: Century, Bernhardt, etc. My husband and I even got out mattress from this Dillard's! Ample amount of associates working who are always super helpful and able to assist you right away! I do wish they had more people working the ladies shoe department it gets absolute chaos on the weekends and during sale days maybe because it is just so LARGE! The selection is crazy huge! They just don't offer a lot of athletic sneakers here though. Excellent beauty brands such as : Kiels, Mac, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, etc. you name it they carry it! read more

Two friends and I were browsing in Dillards at Penn Square mall one night. Apparently they were about to close but we did not know at the time because we walked into and through the store without anyone informing us of this. We were only there because I was looking for a simple jacket. We get over to the Ralph Lauren section and a Dillards associate was close by folding clothes. As we get to her section she stopped everything she was doing a came and uncomfortably stared at us while we were shopping. We ignored her a kept shopping. Then over the intercom they announced that they will be closing at 8:05pm. I then pulled out my phone a looked at the time and saw it was 8:06pm. So keep in mind none told us they were closing soon the whole time we were in the store and then they made the closing announcement late. So I turn to my friends and say they are closing we can come back and look tomorrow let's get out of here. As we decided to leave and we were walking out the same associate who pretty much stalked us while we were browsing waited until we walked past her on our way out yelled darn there in our faces that they were closed. I mean absolutely screamed it. I didn't catch her name but she was old as dirt, has red hair, and judging by how she treats people probably multiple times divorced and her kids probably don't reach out to her. But anyway she yelled so loud that security came from the front of the store (I know we're they were at because we walked past them on the way in). Although she screamed at us for no reason we left without any problems or arguments. We walk to the exit leading into the rest of the mall and notice that there are 2-3 ARMED GUARDS walking behind us escorting us out the store. One of the guards even stopped and told another worker "you see the shit we deal with on the weekends". Which is very unprofessional. Which is also probably the reason he didn't make it through the academy and had to settle for being a rental cop at the mall. He would probably be a lot happier if he actually had any skills and could do something with his life. I really hope Dillards takes this seriously and gets those people out of there. That situation could have took a turn for the worse for everyone involved for no reason. They lady that started all of this should be removed from her position. And keep in mind there was nothing done to provoke these people to treat us this way. I know nothing will get done about this but I hope it helps others think twice before coming here. read more

My parents raised all of my siblings in strid rite walking shoes. We were able to get him two pairs... I would have both more, Tay and hubby pumped my brakes. He's such a good grandson and we love him and he knows everybody loves him. I will always recommend this best place to get form them tiny wide feet. He's not working now... I have faith he will be walking within a few weeks. The sales person was very nice and knowledgeable about the shoes. I recommend this place over all other shoes stores for an infant. read more

Horrible customer service in the lingerie department the other day. I was buying an UGG sweatshirt for my Sister as a present. The sweatshirt was with the pajamas so I walked over to the lingerie counter to check out. First of all, the dressing rooms were horrendous. I didn't even go back there, but from the "to be shelved" racks overflowing with clothes, it looks like Dillards had a rough few months. The cashier was really rude and unfriendly. She looked quite put out to be checking me out. I politely requested a gift receipt and she ignored me. So, I politely requested a gift receipt again. She told me that they don't do gift receipts and the yellow "Proof of Purchase" sticker was all I needed. Being on my lunch break from a rough day myself, I was in no mood to deal with her, so I took my purchase without a gift receipt and left. I realized later that I'd bought the wrong size, so after work I went back to Dillards to make an exchange. Not wanting to again encounter the delightful lady from the lingerie department, I went to the scarves/accessories area. The girl there was also quite annoyed to be helping me and instead of making the exchange for me, walked me back over to the lingerie counter - where there was no one at the cash register. So, we went wandering through bras for 5 minutes until she could find the busy employee working that department (thankfully a different lady than earlier) who said she could help me once she finished with another customer. So, cut to ten minutes later and I'm standing with the new lingerie department lady after she helped the customer ahead of me. This lady was actually really nice, just really busy - like she was the only person in that department who did any actual work ever. She made the exchange for me, and in doing so determined that the prior peach of an attendant overcharged me, in addition to lying about the gift receipts. She refunded my excess money and even went so far as to push the buttons necessary to print me a gift receipt. I give more than one star to the lady who helped me out at the end, but one star (which is being generous) to the other useless and unfriendly employees lurking around there trying to look like they're working. read more

Clean store, yet not a sales associate in sight. Easy to navigate children's area, and clean fitting rooms. Although we had trouble finding a size, (yes baby bro wears Huskey) we managed okay on our own. When ready to check out though, we had to search for a sales associate. Oh Dillard's. It sounds more like a sandwich place than a department store. I feel like I avoid you more often than not, finding workarounds at local places. The makeup I buy nearby isn't exactly what I was hoping for, but it's better than having to come to you. Target's shapewear leaves something to be desired, but their parking sitch is better. Dillard's, it's not you, it's your mothership. I just can't handle the mall. It's the terrible traffic, the Hummer parked in two highly coveted spaces. It's the mean girls, summoned by the tractor beam that is Forever 21. Their GED boyfriends, clad in some Ed Hardy/Affliction mashup, doing their best Channing Tatum duckface while waiting in line for fried rice in the food court. Their moms, reigning supreme at Nine West or J Crew or Banana or fill-in-the-blank. Only at the mall am I so acutely aware that some things never change, that the progressive pocket of Oklahoma I inhabit isn't really representative of the whole of Oklahoma. But Dillard's, you've got Spanx, and MAC, BCBG and Sam Edelman. You've got my perfume and my tights, my moisturizer and my mascara. You sell jewelry I can afford, to go with any look I can throw at you. You have pajamas and sports bras, face scrubs and bathroom rugs. From neck ties to racy stilettos, you've got it all. So I patiently wait while Little Axe prom queens and Elk City dance moms ignore the traffic signs. I breathe and get all zen as I wait for one of the six people working the MAC counter to mosey over and talk to me. So, begrudgingly, I'll be back... pocketbook firmly in hand. read more

I love Dillard's. I like the clothes and the shoes that they have. I usually go to Dillard's because of the big and tall shop but I have lost so much weight that I can shop the normal men's dept. The above statement is generic for all Dillard's. I wish I could mention a particular associate because this person was not only good in the assistance given to me bit just oozing personality. I have never lived in a place that had a Dillard's department store. I've had great experiences here and was thrilled to discover it. Didn't know anything about it. I have unusual proportions and this city is bone dry when it comes to department stores that cater to the unusual and quality merchandise. If it weren't for Dillards I probably would need to order almost everything online, which can get to be a huge pain. Some things you really do need to try on first. The sales associates have always been great to me. The shoe department carries awesome brands, and I can even find some in my size 5. Dillards has the only MAC counters here. Can that be true? Well, it's a plus for them. I also do loathe the mall in which it's located but I just avoid it. read more

Horrendous experience at Dillard's at Penn Square Mall. Aside from very few workers here, the workers mostly represent inept garbage masquerading as "professional" salespeople -- translation: embittered men and women who passive-aggressively lash out at customers for their own general impotence in the world at large, and would be quite at home working as cashiers at Wal-Mart with a tad less make-up and change in their overused attire; I'll go ahead and add some members of "upper-management"/store pawns (e.g., Little Eddie (aka, "lady killer"), whose most keen attributes are short-stature, "serious-business"/I'm a "big boy too" attitude, deluded self-righteousness, and a fake air of "sophistication") to this pile of bad workers. Thus, customer service here is crap, and this type of customer service is perpetuated by poor management. This store is like an elementary school playground, except the only people in the "sandbox" are life's losers. It's the "ghettofication" of Dillard's (used to be a better store, with better "store associates"), which I suppose fits in with the general condition of the mall itself -- Penn Square Mall continues to attract more and more dregs of society. Maybe you can get by at this Dillard's by maintaining a polite reserve. Better yet, try to find other stores that are more accommodating (or buy online to bypass some of the bs you might find at stores like this Dillard's). read more

Oh Dillard's. How many times I have walked around the displays in search of something to buy, only to find it and never be helped. I must block out each bad experience because I keep coming back....only to be ignored again. I don't know if it understaffing or bad staffing but wow. Sometimes it feels as though the associates are sizing customers up as to who will actually be a big spender, well I can't spend any money if no one is there to help. The shoe department is the worst offender, I can't self serve so please help me! I have walked out so many times empty handed when I was prepared to spend. Ugh, the selection is good if you can get someone to help. I will say the upstairs area is a little better. The men's area (different part of the mall) has lost my business after several cologne buying occasions in which associates where really rude. Was very interested in a particular foundation and was looking forward in getting to a store that carried that brand. There were three or four sales women in the makeup area to help, and one young lady stepped up, sat me down on a chair, and proceeded to try on different shades of the foundation I was interested in. She started with one that was too light, she tried another 3-4 shades each a little darker than the previous one. I didn't like any of them. I asked if I could look at the available colors, I can usually tell by the look of the color if it going to suit my skin tone. She said I could but I wouldn't know which one I needed......then she stepped back, looking at my face, circling her hand around the area of my face, asking what I had on there....Very embarrassing and offensive. My first thought was I must have running mascara, or something similar that made me look so bad. She was talking about my foundation and blush...duh..the reason I was there was to find something I would like better than what I was using. I am still interested in trying that foundation, but will go to a Macy store; some of them handle the same brand. read more
