I called Beto's just to check and he was open and said he'd wait for me (he was already closed). When I got there he had three choices for tire replacement sitting on the sidewalk. I made my choice and he swapped out new tire, mounted, balanced and reinstalled while I waited. This is a local shop and the fellas working there were legit mechanics. Third out the shop does other work too and we made arrangements for them to work on my exhaust leak on another vehicle. This is a great shop and I'll definitely be back. My husband and I took our motorhome in to get four rear tires and rims replaced…read more Long story short on Aug 21st on way to camp the left rear two tires came off going 60mph on the highway. The outer tire took off down the highway and presumably down a ravine (as we never could find it) and the inner tire managed to go under back left end of motorhome tearing off one exhaust pipe and doing body damage. After a few days of trying to get it off the highway and somewhat drivable my husband managed to take photo of the rims Jeff's tires put on compared to the older ones that were on and they were too big by 1/4"! This caused the rim to rest on studs eventually wearing them out, bending and causing tires to fly off :( Unfortunately in weeks since all they did was replace one tire. We had to buy the replacement rim from another local tire store. My husband has been trying to reach the owner several times over a few weeks, for resolution /reimbursement for damages done with no call back after a few messages here locally and in Tacoma. So that is where we are at the moment ......if this gets resolved I will update.

One of the studs on one wheel was broken and the lug nut could not be removed normally so we called Dell's OK Point S to check if someone could come out. To my surprise they said yes and we only had to wait 10 minutes or less for Austin to arrive! Our original plan was to get the rims and ruined tires off then take those and an existing set of all season tires to the shop to get them mounted. I was delighted when Austin carefully and safely jacked the car, removed the tires on rims and took them to the shop. He then mounted the all season tires onto the rims. He was gone a short time then returned and installed them all using an air wrench from his service truck. He worked quickly and efficiently. He even thought to bring the ruined tires back in case they are needed as evidence. He was calming, kind, professional and personable, took time to educate me, and patiently answered all my many questions In a way I could understand. Thanks to him, we are now able to drive the car and get the extensive body damage estimates for the insurance and police department before the perpetrator's court date and start the process of getting the car repaired, all without having to pay for another tow. In my opinion, he definitely undercharged for the house call and excellent service. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend this shop.

His story kept changing, and eventually called me, my daughter and my wife liars. He claimed the police never came, so he basically called the officer (who i know) a liar. We had an oil change on a Mini Cooper on Aug 25 and on the 29th, the Check Engine light came on. I looked at the dipstick and it was on minimum. When I returned to Ocean Auto, I was told that the Mini had a "closed system" which meant it didn't have a dipstick making it difficult to guess how much oil to put in. I said the way I knew it was on minimum was I checked the dipstick. I was then told not to return. "We don't work on foreign cars." The mechanic, who was nice, did add 1/2 quart, but the dipstick is still showing a quart low when I got home. Since we have a Subaru and a Mini (both "foreign cars"), we'll be finding another auto shop.
