I scheduled a call and got a confirmation, but on the day of the appointment, no one called me. I followed up about an hour later and was told the rep had an emergency, so we rescheduled for two days later. The same thing happened again. It's now been over an hour past the scheduled time and still no call or communication. At this point, it feels like the free consultation doesn't really mean much if they can't even show up or follow through. This is supposed to be the stage where they make a good first impression, and unfortunately that didn't happen. If they can't respect my time before I'm even a client, it's hard to trust that they will after. Overall, pretty disappointing experience. Edited: picture added in response to their company rep's message.

Surprisingly, there were no mistakes last year other than sending me the wrong reminder card. However, while sitting there getting our taxes completed ..... I had made a joke that I was frustrated with my husband and that I should have a yard sale and sell his stuff. She was the only individual I told this to. It was a joke. I felt that we had a nice conversation while she did my taxes, and I also felt like I had turned a leaf with her because normally when we would go into her office, she often rolls her eyes and makes comments while doing taxes. We even talked about all her little frogs and how she came about to collecting frogs it was actually I believe her mother who originally collected frogs. Sadly, I heard from three separate individuals asking me if I had really had gotten rid of all my husbands belongings at a yard sale. ( Confirmed they heard it directly from you) Boy oh boy did you run with that! Bev, it seems that you like to converse and gossip and it's not appreciated. What you did I believe was unprofessional & it was actually damaging. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are not a nice person. We put up with years of you making errors on our taxes. We continued to go to you out of convenience since we live locally in Napa. As well as being small business owners ourselves, we want to support other small businesses. Happy tax season and next time don't gossip about your clients. Be professional! Learn from this.

My dad recommended The Werner Group since he and I were both screwed over last year and we were both in search for a Tax company. On the first day we met Ray, the elevator doors weren't working and my father wasn't physically capable of walking three flights of stairs. Since it was a Monday with a holiday, there really wasn't anyone to contact about this issue, so Ray was more than happy to walk down stairs and hold our meeting in the lobby. He was very adamant about making sure our tax files were correct when we receive them (which I was pretty surprised to hear from a tax guy). A few weeks later he e-mailed me to let me know my taxes were able to be picked up.
