Placed an order for pickup. Food was ready in 30 minutes. Walked into the restaurant. Very bright, kind of clean. We order ed garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, tandori chicken and Malai kofta. Garlic naan delicious.... We did order too many because we didn't know how big it was Chicken tikka masala delicious and using garlic naan to dip ... Yum chef's kiss Chicken Biryani - chicken was dry and had the breast bone (rib cage) - but not a fan Malai kofta - first time having this dish... A bit on the spicier sign. Great for dipping. I would order it again. But I I would order it again. Overall I would be coming back to get some Indian food. Because I can't find any places nearby in Bayside.

Just have to drop a quick review. I could not find an All You Can Eat Indian restaurant during the weekdays and this was my last hope. The price is so reasonable $16-17. Superb. Great atmosphere the place is very clean. The food has the right amount of spice and kick. Everything was great. Only complaint, staff did not say "thank you" when we were leaving. it's not a big deal, but would be nice to engage with customers.

We bought Nan basket, 2 chicken biryanis, 1 lamb briyani, 1 chicken tikka curry and 1 chilli chicken via Door dash. The chicken quality in curry and briyani was horrible. We had to throw the food away. No one in my family wanted it. The biryanis both chicken and lamb left a bad taste in mouth. Again it went to the garbage. The Nan had embedded hair inside. I have attached photos. Only the chicken chilli was below average. Worst food ever. Never will order from here again.

Food was delicious and service was great! The staff were helpful and they were accommodating to us. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

This review is solely based on their lunch buffet. We were on route to our usual spot for Indian food for lunch when we saw this place. It's been opened recently, so we figured we'll come in and give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The selection is pretty standard for Indian fares for a lunch buffet. The service was ok and will probably improve with time, as it is a brand new business. The food was hot and fresh albeit slightly fewer choices than other places, but it was all very tasty and fresh. The place is very clean and the service was friendly. Price of the meal was good. We will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes. I do highly recommend trying their lunch for a quick bite.

The price is amazing, the portion size is fantastic, and it was delicious! Recently, we tried the weekend buffet, which was amazing and totally worth it! It's $18 per person but the selection is really great, with both vegetarian and meat dishes offered, and two dessert selections. What I love is that some of their dishes have a kick to them and feel more authentic than other Indian restaurants I've eaten at with respect to the spiciness. While I'm not a fish lover, I loved their fish pakora! It is so flavorful and super easy to overeat. While I loved all of their buffet dishes, the fish pakora and chana masala were my absolute favorites with the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala tying for 2nd. The restaurant is very large and clean, and the servers are very kind and attentive. They were constantly refilling our water and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this is a great spot for Indian food and a great Indian buffet spot. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood.

Always good, always delicious, perpetually classy, continually evolving with new dishes and combos…read moreand the biggest smiles and warmest service everyone gets. I have been a die hard raving fan for 12 plus years, maybe 14. The lunch buffet is a daily staple and just phenomenal for the weekend price of $24.80 including tax ( drinks and tip additional). What makes Jassi's in New Hyde Park the Undisputed Champ - 1) The food - the best fried fish ( named Amritsari) that is so good, so flaky and seasoned and prepared so well that that little mint sauce and a sprinkle of lemon will make you dance.. and sing!! I did. The bread - amazing! Hot! Fresh! The biryani - cooked perfect so the spices, veggies and chicken really blend in over the 5 plus hour process. The rice pudding- the real deal. The salad bar has all the ingredients- simple but very good. The raita - yogurt with diced vegetables and a little spice is brilliant and a perfect accompaniment as a salad dressing with the tamarind sauce or on top of the Indian nachos with chips, chick peas and potatoes. 2) The service - Suman is the mainstay and superstar. Been good and really special to my family pre Covid to present day. My grandkids love his energy and his sense of humor. He is just so attentive, kind and proactive. 3) The vibe - there is an ease and relaxed mood that makes this meal and experience enjoyable. 4) The price for this quality now in almost June of 2026. 5) They are open till midnight Friday to Saturday for that late craving. The Undisputed Champ!!!!!

Thanks to Andie for introducing us to Jassi's Fine Indian Buffet, a fairly large establishment…read moreserving a decent variety of Indian dishes. Since our group was the first to arrive upon opening, it's possible that time wasn't allocated for the Chafing Dishes to fully warm all the food. I'm not a fan of hot food being served lukewarm, so that was slightly disappointing. To add to my disappointment Palak Paneer was not an option at the buffet. Something I haven't had in years. Instead, there was Shahi Paneer. This dish, also a part of the lukewarm trend, unfortunately offered dry tasting Paneer. Despite the paneer's dryness, I enjoyed the richness of the Shahi sauce. There was also Goat Curry, which turned out to be the best dish of our group as it was tender and flavorful. The freshly made Garlic Naan was a nice warm treat. Aside from a few misses for me, the seven of us getting together was a success. We ended up chatting amongst ourselves from my timings, had to be well over two and a half hours, while the inclement weather on Saturday, April 25th continued. I must add considering our long stay the staff was more than accommodating. Thank you Andie for yet another successful culinary intro. TIP: Lunch Buffet reasonably priced @ $22.00 p/p+ Small shared Parking lot
