As an active duty service member, it was important for me to find a company I could trust to care for my father because I am far from home. My mom is my dad's sole caretaker and it was taking a toll on her; she needed help. Hiring Dignity at Home Care was the worst decision I could have made. My dad has dementia and needs consistency. Chris promised to rotate two caretakers trained in dementia care. He said if neither of them could be there, he'd personally cover down. This didn't happen. Instead, new people constantly showed up, which was even more concerning because of COVID. Sometimes, no one show up at all or Chris would text to cancel on us with less than an hour notice. When his staff did bother to show up, they weren't trained. Numerous times, they didn't properly clean my dad. One even admitted she was actually a receptionist and had zero experience with dementia care. I do not recommend Dignity at Home Care. I'm saddened by how they treated my dad. read more
