In addition to the waterfalls, there is a large reservoir where you can fish, swim and boat. The park is located about 10 miles out of St. George, Utah. My good friend and I decided last spring (2023) to come and see the falls. I checked the park website to make sure they were running. The falls don't run every year so always make sure to check the park website before heading up here. We arrived early afternoon but there were way too many peeps so we left to return later. We came back close to 5:00pm and the crowds had thinned. We paid the $10 fee and enjoyed the falls. You have to climb up to the falls so be sure to wear some trusted footwear so you don't slip. So much water rushing over the beautiful red rocks. It was quite a show and I highly recommend if you find yourself in the area. Remember to Leave No Trace and take care of our public lands.

You can tell when someone enjoys what they do! I feel like we could've spent hours out on the water if it didn't get quite choppy with the wind trying to head back to the dock. We lucked out and it was just the 3 of us out on the water for the tour, me and my sweetie in a double canoe. Bill took pictures of us and while crunched in a canoe with a life vest isn't a flattering look for me, I certainly didn't care at the time. We even helped clean up the area with our haul of trash! The water was warm and we definitely wanted to return but the weather was rainy for the days after. We will return when we can! Thank you so much to Bill and Ken and Josh for such an experience!! We booked the tour with Happy Trails Adventure Company and were so pleased with what we received. We booked both a tour of Zion National Park and a tour of Bryce Canyon. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and considered our areas of interest. My husband is a photographer and my son likes to hike. Our guide managed to find the right blend of activities for all of us. He also made sure we had plenty of water and snacks and took us to amazing lunch places (which were included in the price). We are certain that we would not have been able to get to the places we wanted to see in such an efficient way without the expertise of the tour. There are a lot of people visiting the national parks this year as a way to have a vacation while still controlling your interaction with others. The guides, Glade and Hannah, were terrific, like personal chefs there to assure you had a great time and were safe. They aimed at the best part of every rapid- a real E-ticket ride. Some advice: 1. bring more alcohol-it was hot in August, probably 100, we are not big drinkers but 3-4 cold beers a day would sure have been nice, we ran out on day 6 2. wear light colored clothes if the weather is going to be warm 3. bring a walking stick, very helpful on the hikes scrambling over boulders and rocks 4. bring more alcohol 5. a waterproof day pack to have some gear readily accessible on the raft would have been nice 6. Have a set of river shoes, and a set of hiking shoes for shore excursions. My river shoes were great on wet rocks in the river, but tenuous at best when hiking 7. bring more alcohol 8. I balked at the sarong idea and regretted it, sarong would have been great to keep cool on the raft and to provide additional sun protection 9. Gel or spray on deodorant would have been nice, I brought body wash but it did not really cut it. 10. Consider going in May-mid July time frame when river is running clear. Once monsoon season starts in Arizona the river runs silty. Still a great trip. GCE is one of the few companies that provides cots and sleeping pads and sleeping bags as part of the experience, other companies might charge extra.

We were with A group from Grand Canyon Brewery and had the time of our lives. Guides made sure we were SAFE at all times and had our lives in their hands. We trusted them. They were super fun, had great knowledge of the history and geology of the canyons. The crew Prepared the most amazing restaurant quality meals using Dutch ovens and grills. They were super accommodating, charismatic, and professional. If you wanna be safe , experience they canyon, and have one of the best trips ever, then go with GCE.

Rented jet skis from here and had a blast. I reserved my high powered Jet ski online before hand…read moreto make sure it was available. I was a bit worried about flooding the engine which came with a $500 fee that i had read about in other reviews. Because of this i kinda took it easy and didn't do any crazy high speed turns to avoid flipping which floods the engine. I also read a few things on the internet about how to avoid flooding the engine. The big one was if it dies and someone tows you in make sure they go slower than 5 MPH, because dragging it thru the water at higher speeds pulls water into the engine and floods it. It was my first time on a jet ski, they excellerate very quickly like a motorcycle. It took me a little while to get used to the speed, but eventually got it to full throttle, i just dialed it down when it got choppy. The staff was helpful and friendly. The jet skis all seemed pretty new and we had no problems with them. They say each jet ski can hold 3 people but they suggest only 2 per as it increases the chances of flooding the engine. Also if you fall off, be careful when getting back on, thats how you can easily flip the jet ski and flood it. There was also a swimmers itch warning, which is a harmless parasite that leaves a rash on your skin. Although it was the season for it and warning signs, no one encountered any of this. We all had a blast, some tips; bring sunscreen or wear long sleeves to protect you from the sun, if you have sunglasses make sure you have a lanyard that keeps them around your neck in case they come off. There was also a $20 fee at the entrance to the park for non Utah residence, which we did not anticipate. Over all a fun and exciting experience.

Despite a few things, we had a great day on the water with one of their jetski rentals. That being…read moresaid, the experience wasn't as good as the Mad Moose rentals on Quail Creek. Because this is the only option on-site, you just have to accept the price. But I would say the main negative was that the rental itself was pretty beaten up. The kill switch clip was broken, and the steering was great. At least the kids running the place were chill about the issues and didn't try and blame us. Not all rental places are like that. Some places basically look for any reason to charge you damages regardless if you were responsible or not. - More expensive - Charged for gas - Relatively hassle free renting/returning.

They also helped me fix a chip on my board for free. Highly recommend coming through here if you're in the area.
