If I hadn't looked up local nurseries I never would've known they were there, it's definitely a pleasant surprise to find this adorable farm tucked away where I never would've guessed! My birthday passed recently and the only two things I told my family I wanted to do were get boba tea and go to the nursery. Golden Acres was my choice and I'm so glad it was. I was very impressed by the variety and amount of plants they had, there was tons to choose from! They have numerous greenhouses open at various times with seasonal veggies, perennials, annuals, etc. I love that they are organic and make a point to feature what they do and don't use. I am more of an ornamental gardener who only does a few edibles, but I still try to stay organic and it meant alot to me how transparent they were about their practices. The signs at each greenhouse with pricing and variety were extremely helpful and the way it was setup almost on a trail that you followed to each greenhouse (with various plants also set up outside) made it easy to look at everything without getting too turned around. All the plants looked very happy and healthy and I didn't see any visible pests while browsing. They were close to closing when we stopped by but they never rushed us or acted inconvenienced that we were still there. I ended up purchasing 2 6pk coleus starts - wizard mix and rainbow mix (with plans to return and purchase more plants once I had more time and money), and they were very reasonably priced, transplanted wonderfully and all 12 are thriving. I was extremely impressed by Golden Acres and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Prices are very fair, the plants are taken well care off, and below is a free kid themed seasonal maze with handmade statues... summertime is "Candyland" We picked up a few items, a huge rosemary bush, cilantro, and Canna flower, and ALL are doing really well in my garden. I'd never visited for any other reason until the year we decided to buy a fake Christmas tree and it was a total failure. Our semi-feral kitten thought it was "home" and over the course of a week had bent all the branches down. She'd done a pretty good job of it and the tree was in pretty sad shape. In my aggravation, I shoved it back in the box and ran across the street to Beaumont farm to see if they had anything last minute. They were so friendly, helped us find the perfect tree in no time, tied it to our car and gave us a discount on both the tree and a wreath. They basically saved Christmas lol
