A huge emphasis is placed…read moreon outside time, where the kids are allowed to explore, garden, use their imagination, or simply just run and play. I believe that the Rancho location has the best outside space, with huge sectioned off area to segregate the varying ages; so infant, toddlers, and older children can all play outside freely. They also maintain a spectacularly clean facility and provide nutritious organic snacks and lunches. The teachers, the director, and the assistant director are all caring and all are just so amazing with children. My child has been able to stay with the same teacher since being placed in the toddler class, and she absolutely loves Ms. Samantha, and so do we! She takes extra care in listening to each and every child and also seamlessly uses the Reggio-inspired approach to redirect tantrums. She has taught my child so much, from the alphabet (before she was 2!), to shapes, colors and so much more. This school is everything you could ever want! It is always scary and extremely daunting to leave your little one with someone else, but with Little Sprouts, that fear instantly dissipates when you walk through their doors. Please just do yourself a favor and tour the school; you won't be disappointed!

I have to say I really liked it at first and the app is wonderful. But they don't always log diaper…read morechanges. My child was in the preschool class and they didnt really log if he ate or not. They just wrote down the menu for that day so I wonder if he ever really ate even though they said yes when I asked. My son was always big for his age and it seemed like there are too many kids here and they weren't able to give him the time and attention he needed. The ratio is 12:1. When I dropped my son off one morning, poor Ms.Kelcey was changing a diaper while 10 other kids were running around and one was crying in the corner. Nothing on Ms.Kelcey; shes great and she handled that like a champ. They just need more staff here. I noticed one of the teachers had quit when my son first started and the teachers here seem kind of burnt out. The director met with us and said my child wasn't meeting his milestones and that the teachers hadn't observed them. But, when we got our son evaluated by his pediatrician and a speech therapist, that was not the case. His outbursts at school didnt improve. From looking at the footage that they DID show us, it appeared it happened whenever teachers were looking away, so I do feel bad for the other kids. It seemed like he was always getting written up and they looked for any reason to write an incident report. Most times that we asked to see the footage, we wouldnt get it. The director would just say she watched it and tell us what happened. The director pushed for my son to get evaluated through the regional center and even after I went through the process of doing so to get him the help he needed, he was still terminated. After my sons occupational therapist went to the school (she went and observed him his last week there), she observed that our son was not the worse behaved one and that he was just copying other kids behaviors. Now that my son is in a different pre school with a smaller ratio, he is doing better. So, maybe this school isn't for neurodivergent kids or for shy kids or for kids that are big for their age. For the price, I would say you get what you pay for because the facility is beautiful, always clean, and the yard is nice. Food is good from what I've seen and super healthy. But, it is packed with kids (12:1 in prek) and they really need more staff!!

My two daughters have been at sparrow since 2021. It was such a relief to find a school that has…read morecommunity and meets criteria for education. Our teachers thus far have been caring, knowledgeable, and dependable. While the school has gone through a few changes over the years, the sparrow community continues to hold together for the kids with help of parents and staff alike. The most important thing is my children are HAPPY at sparrow. They have made true friendships, they know all the staff on a first name basis, and are learning to love learning. Waldorf education is a different kind of educational pathway, however at sparrow all concepts that are seen in public school are still met at sparrow bcuz they are a charter and state funded. They just teach it in a different way. They are not perfect and it's an uphill battle to keep this charter school functioning as a Waldorf since we still have to meet state testing, but the village it provides makes it worth while. Those looking into Waldorf education private or charter, should really work to understand what, how and why, waldorf curriculum is taught.

This school has been one big disappointment after another. I would switch but I have split custody…read moreand the father doesnt want to deal with that. My son is so far behind and they didnt tell me I went to them and told them and then all the sudden they agreed. There is absolutely no communication between facilitiy members. I've been lied to and now I've called Neda 4 times and have yet to recieve a call back. I can not recommend this school. On an educational level I knew this was not traditional but I had no idea my son would be so behind. Im having to pay several hundreds of dollars each month for tutors. I love norse mythology but I did not think that would completely take place of history. My child has not been taught about presidents or wars or anything really related to us history. I do not blame this new teacher the year just started. This whole experience for the past several years has been disappointing.

I toured eight preschools (maybe more?) and BunnyBears was far and away my first pick. There is so…read moremuch to like at this school, from the focused and kind leadership of the director, to the Reggio-inspired philosophy, to the diversity of staff and families (which our queer and mixed race family values). We feel like our kiddo has learned a lot about community and herself. There are some downsides, as there are everywhere. I don't love the location, right off a busy road, and there's been some teacher turnover, but the school feels really safe behind gates, with a lovely outdoor play area, and there's been a lot of continuity with other teachers. We're headed to TK soon and are really, really bummed to leave the BunnyBears family, but are so glad for the experience.

We've been at BunnyBears for two years, and it's been the best experience for my son. We chose this…read morepreschool because we wanted a focus on social emotional development, and a place that allows the kids to play and explore. This school is exactly that - they put so much effort into giving the kids freedom to figure out who they are and explore their interests, all while teaching them how to be good friends and kind little humans. This is not a traditionally structured preschool - you won't find worksheets or desks, but you will find a Reggio style environment that intentionally allows the kids to lead. No school is perfect, but it's clear the teachers are all trying their best to create a safe and open environment for the kids. Teacher Donna, Teacher Linnea, and all the other teachers, have had a huge impact on my son, and we can't thank them enough. We'll miss the sweet little BunnyBears community!

We feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm, welcoming, and enriching school community…read more From the very beginning, our family has felt supported not just academically, but personally as well. The teachers and staff truly go above and beyond to create an environment where each child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow. We currently have three children at the school, and each of them has had such a positive and unique experience. The balance between strong academics and character development is something we deeply appreciate. It's clear that the school is focused on nurturing the whole child, building confidence, kindness, and a genuine love for learning. One of the highlights for our family has been the musical program. Our daughters have been involved in the school musical, and it has been such a meaningful experience for them. Not only have they grown in confidence and creativity, but they've also formed friendships across different grade levels, which has been so special to see. The sense of community that comes from these programs is truly something unique. We couldn't be happier with our experience and feel lucky every day to be part of this amazing school. It's a place where children are encouraged to thrive, friendships flourish, and families feel genuinely connected.

I have only GREAT things to say about Mt. Helix Academy!!…read more My little 3rd grader has THRIVED at this school. Known to be very shy and often wouldn't participate in class, we were desperate. There wasn't ever any trouble, just no willingness to be part of school functions, class projects, and we were about to succumb to the idea that was just the way it was. No joy for school or even extra-curricular activities. Well... these teachers did amazing things!! My child is like a whole new kid. The small class sizes helped them focus on my child's needs, and the care the teachers showed made such a difference. Now my child loves school, can't wait to "try" math (it can still be hard) and is in the school play! I would have never thought this could happen. I was just looking for a place where a child could feel welcome and loved, and, oh yeah - learn. I am so very thankful that we took a chance on Mt. Helix Academy. I can't recommend them enough!
