My husband got the bolognese cannelloni and calamari (they asked how many he wanted and got 4, they were huge). I may have to try the spinach and ricotta cannelloni next time if it's available. The bread with the sesame in the crust is so, so good. Can't wait to try more of what they offer! They don't have a menu which can be a bit intimidating with the language barrier (mostly only German and Italian) but they have been really helpful both times.

The Ratskeller is a wellknown and frequently visited location. So it might be useful to make a reservation in advance. The chairs outside are only a few. Sitting there in the summertime is recommendable. The service is not absolutely prompt but there is not such a long time to wait until a friendly waiter appears at the table. For very good food go Waldlust or Ratskeller. These are the best in Oberursel !!!
