Dicks that has hunting and fishing licenses you can buy, but the counter for that at the front doesn't let you pay, you have to wait in the long line for other purchases. It'd be more efficient if they had a pay station there too for the licenses. That was the more annoying part, the long line to pay after the license is printed. Store has plenty of mountain and all terrain bikes but not a lot of road or cycling versions. And their prices are high for gear like pfds, with limited choices on brands. However they do have a nice set of fishing rods to choose from. Would I get other gear here? Maybe, they have a lot of the sports covered and quality seems good, but I wouldn't be able to speak to most other sports.

The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. I'm feeling surprised I'm the one to even add this place on Yelp and glad to be the FTR. We had few shorts that had to be returned for oversize and went to this location. We used this to look for some new shorts and badminton rackets. They have a nice collection of everything that ranges from sports wears, shoes, sporting goods that includes indoor and outdoor games. The place is vast and has social distancing enforced. They have hand sanitizers at the entrance for customers. The staff wear masks and are highly courteous. The checkout was a cakewalk and was hassle free.

Some of the problems were obvious and others were hard to pinpoint, but the effect was a mishmash. My daughter called Susan and after several reassuring texts, made an appointment to come into The Wedding Dresser. From the get-go Susan understood what was wrong & how to fix it. Her team went to work. The dress was how it should have been - masterful work, a talented team, and able to pull it all off in record time!

I reached out to them to get a $650 dress slightly adjusted and hemmed. This was not a complicated…read morealteration as I as assured by the professional I ended up hiring (about 2h of work). Susan quoted me over $1200 for this adjustment, and when I said this was more expensive than my dress cost, I received the most unprofessional and rude response and was quite taken aback. "Yes, we pay humans who live and eat and pay rent in the United States, which is very different from the people who made your dress so it is usual that for dresses under $1000 alterations cost more than the dress. Good luck with your hunt." They don't know where I got my dress from, and I'm also someone living in NYC and doing my best. I think people are allowed to charge what they want or think their skill is worth, but I also think the wedding industry has lost their minds. I found an independent professional who did a beautiful job and charged a fair price. I have other dresses to be adjusted until my big day, and had considered saving them if I needed help for my main dress which will be more expensive, but based on this rude and entitled response, I already know to never go back to this business again.
