My husband and I went to Dick's to look at golf clubs. Jim helped my husband test out different clubs and find what worked for him in our budget. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and patient. His customer service was outstanding and because of him we'll be back for more golf supplies soon. read more

This Dick's is not as large as the one at The Town Centre, but more than likely, they'll still have whatever sporting good you're looking. The store is very clean and nicely organized. Check out lines are never long, so that part of the shopping experience is always a breeze. If you need assistance, it's never difficult to find a friendly employee willing to help. As a matter of fact, whenever I'm in the store, generally more than one employees always approaches me asking if I need assistance. There are certain things we shop here for on a regular basis. I only use Speedo swimming goggles and they have a nice selection here. While not cheap, hubby loves Under Amour for working out... sometimes they even have nice sales on it. And while they don't have a very large selection of Reef flip flops, they do have a decent enough selection that hubby can usually find a pair he likes. read more

Dick's can be accessed form inside the mall or the parking lot. Fairly clean store, well organized and not super crowded. They do not have a lot of dressing rooms, and rather then a typical dressing room area, they seem to have single stalls placed throughout the store. read more

I always go to Dick's to buy golf equipment. I purchased two sets of irons over the past 10 years. This won't happen again after my latest experience. My game was improving so I wanted to buy a new set last December. I found a TaylorMade set online and went to the store to check them out. The Golf sales person strongly suggested a set of Tommy Armour TA1s instead. Turns out this is their in-house brand. After 20 minutes on the simulator, I walked out with a full set of TAs including hybrids, 3 wood and Driver. I knew it would take time to dial in the clubs but I was never able to hit the ball consistently. I finally went to my pro and in 2 minutes he discovered the clubs were an inch and a half too short for me. I'm past the time to return the clubs. Lesson learned... Dick's is a great place for golf accessories but don't count on them to pay attention to selling you appropriately sized golf clubs. I really like this particular Dick's Sporting Goods location. They have a great selection of items for various sports and it's not difficult to find the item you need... The store is clean and well organized... If you have trouble finding something there is always someone there to help... This store is great no matter your need. On a recent visit there was some confusing signage up. A shirt should have been marked down based on a sticker color. A woman who I believe was the manager with short red hair; wouldn't honor it. But offered a default 10% off the item. Which is a trigger for, "we'll help you out since we screwed up and don't want you to call corporate." When a good business model would be to honor it and fix it for the next customer. Four different ladies working couldn't figure it out, The original girl working the cash register said it's probably some old marketing from last week. It's unfortunate that Dick's Sporting Goods is turning into the next Sports Authority, and we wonder why we all shop online now. Needless to say I found one of the shirts online ON THEIR WEBSITE for that price, and googled a coupon code for 10 off. Lost hope. Hey at least I know it'll fit! read more

3rd visit and as per usual, rude staff. If someone hates their job that much, maybe they need to re evaluate their job choice or management needs to address/re train. This store is great. Cant beat dicks sporting goods. Wide variety of stuff for the sports they support. But what about hockey?!?! I would love for them tk have some instore hockey goods for people to buy. There is a ice rink in jax so it wouldnt hurt to have a small selection of goods. read more
