Especially because I only had sugar packets & dinky creamer cups to fix my coffee. The young employee who rung me out was super nice. He smells of it and he even gave me more money than I won on scratch offs. He made mistake. Watch your change. And the owner is money hungry. Marks his items 75% more than what they are priced. The iced tea at Turkey Hill alone is enough to give this place at least four stars. They have great late-night snacks for a super cheap price. I have complained a few times at the horrible service I have experienced there, and it always gets swept under the rug. The parking is a royal nightmare, a local pizza joint has their customers park their and take up the parking. The floors are clean around 30% of the times I went, and as I said before most of the employees don't care. The counters are always sticky, and covered with dirt and everything else you can think of. The gas is watered down thanks in part to mother nature which fills the underground tanks with rain water that get into the engines of the vehicles that get the gas. If you want to get laughed at by employees that don't care then by all means go here, otherwise I would say Wawa, or Redners', heck even Sheetz is better than this place.

Womp! Womp! Time for…read morethe ol' trusty default three star Yelp gas station check list: Good price? This is kind of a loaded question. At the time of pumpage it was in the low 2.70's. The price since then has shot the moon around a dime and the fact is still that in PA compared to other neighboring states we're getting ripped off daily so, it's a push on this one. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? Not the cleanest but it wasn't a dump either. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? While I would have preferred going to Sheetz, if you're heading south on 222 it's just too hard most of the time with all the ongoing construction plus the thick as a brick traffic to turn left in this area which makes this place the winner by default. FWIW in my limited travels there is normally not a whole lot of difference in price between Speedway and Sheetz but every so often this place is a penny or two per gallon less. Human intervention needed? Thankfully, no. Three star gas station bliss achieved!!!

I might say that I even went off course in search to find me some sweet tea. But, has my love affair with Sheetz met its end? Have I been forced to move on to another company? Have I been left behind? Well...maybe. See, first, Sheetz took away the onion rings (my go to on the menu). Ok, big whoop. Then Sheetz took away the tater tots (my go to since onion rings departed). Next up was that they replace Faygo with their subpar version of soda (didn't we try this back in the 90s). After that, they cut back on the variety of drinks in the cooler (no more Aquafina or Voss). Now, they seem to have gotten rid of their brewed sweet tea. I honestly have no reason to go out of my way to stop at one anymore it seems. The thing with their brewed sweet tea was that it truly was sweet tea. Freshly brewed for you to consume. What was in it to sweeten it, nothing but sugar from Domino. Now...meh. Now they have replaced it with dispenser provided by Gold Leaf. If I wanted a Gold Leaf tea, I would have gone to the cooler and got one (unless they removed it to force you to get a fountain drink, that's what it is now, a fountain drink). Why am I against such a change over? Allergies. I knew that the tea was just that, tea and sugar. Now with them hooking up a dispenser, I can guarantee that there is some form of corn in their sweetener for it. Whether it be corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose (corn sugar), etc. Keep your dispenser sweet tea (those machines rarely work and spit out more water than tea mixture). You keep taking away items and expect customers to keep coming. If you want to be a fast food restaurant so bad, spin that portion off and leave the thing most of us grew up with alone. I can hardly eat anything on the menu anymore as it is. But, I really went off on a tangent here, this location, no fault to the above, was decent. I just needed to rant overall. This location allowed for me to pull off, enjoy some time before getting back in my vehicle and head home...disappointed.
