This was a claim through AHS. Phil and Phil Jr. were great. Fast, efficient, cleaned up the area completely and had my dryer humming in less than a half an hour. It took awhile to get the parts in, but other than that they answered my calls and came once the parts were in. Great job!! read more

STAY AWAY!! Owner came out for a dishwasher repair. Said he needed to order a part, a month later I called him and he hung up on me. Very unprofessional I called another company and they said they didn't place the motherboard on the dishwasher and that is why it broke again but they charged for it. Had it fixed by another company and have not had any issues. Owner is unprofessional, rude, lacks customer service, and mostly doesn't fix the job correct. read more

We had to wait several days for parts, and then another couple of weeks for more parts. I was referred to Filipe at Diaz and Sons from another repair company that didn't repair broken bearings on a washing machine. He got me in within 24 hours and repaired my non functioning washing machine in 1-2 hours. He explained the issue to me and showed me the bad parts. Considering the amount of work he did I thought the price was very fair ($275). He also fixed my broken stovetop light for $50. He's honest, fair and competent. Had Diaz & sons (Felipe) to come over and inspect our dish washer problem (per home warranty referral) ,the moment I heard only cash was a red flag ,looked at my dish washer. Tell me what the problem might be, sets a date to come back and fix it 2 days later (on a day they dont work ,saturday) ,only to received a call from the warranty rhat wont be able to repair problem because according to these gentlemen my machines have been misused and abused ,we probably run it 3 or 4 times in 2 years . We take really good care of our stuff ,everything is in stellar conditions, just an FYI. I felt misled, unprofessionally treated, paid up front for service call in cash ,I said u havent even done anything ,he said service call fee must be collected so i paid . I'd never trust anyone that only takes cash to begin with as a form of payment . Point is ,if there was anything to be discussed about potentially not being able to have the repairs covered by warranty, I feel like should've been told about it right there and then and not set up an appointment to comeback and not really comeback ,pretty shady if you ask me ,plus didnt bother to cancel appointment, rather have the warranty scammers called and told us the news, warranty company htw is 2-10 home warranty ,careful out there ..thanks read more

The previous negative reviews for this company sound almost identical to our situation, so no need for me to go into detail. Avoid this company if you can, for all the reasons stated previously. American Home Shield assigned our project to Diaz and Sons. We got a missed call at 6 am . Husband called back several times over the span Of a couple days and no response. American Home Shield called and no response yet voice mail says hours are 8 to 5. After leaving a message to not bother returning our call I get a call again at 6 am. You don't call people at 6 am and then are unreachable any normal business hours. Inexcusable! read more

If I could give a negative number, I would. They came out on 11-14 to look at our dishwasher that wasn't working. We called through the home warranty company. He took cash of $70.00, said he needed to order a part. Finally he sets up an appointment on 12-24-19 at 10:00 am to come out and fix the dishwasher. He never showed. Didn't bother to call. Finally my husband was able to get ahold of him by text. His wife had other plans for him and he wouldn't be able to make the appointment. No mention of when he would re-schedule. Needless to say, we had had enough and called the home warranty company to complain about the service we were not getting from Diaz and Sons. They sent another repair company out and the dishwasher was fixed in less than 10 minutes. A switch had gotten loose and all he did was check that and it started working. We are American Home Shield customers, so we didn't have a choice on which contractor to use. The contractor did not return calls, was late or no-show for appointments, causing us to be without our dryer for more than 2 weeks. He had to come out a second time to fix some wires he left loose. Now, a few weeks later, the same problem is back and he is not returning calls. Very unhappy with this service. I'm surprised they can stay in business. read more

I have a really old glass-top stove that has a large and small burner combo on the front right. The large burner had stopped working a long time ago and I was afraid of the cost to fix it. After over a year of dealing with it, I Yelped appliance repair shops and found Diaz and Sons. Filipe came and tested the burner and determined it must be the switch that needed replacing. When he opened up the back panel to replace the switch, he also found a loose wire connector. He fixed the switch and replaced the loose connecter (no extra charge for the extra fix) and now my large burner works perfectly! Huzzah! And the best part was it came in under $160! wow what horrible customer service. Our home warranty insurance sent them over for dishwasher drainage issues last week. We had same issues again so i called our hoe warranty who told us to contact Daiz and Son. i did and we set appointment for Monday 11am. A few months ago we had a problem with our washing machine we are customers of 210 homebuyers warranty they referred us to Diaz and sons.They came over to assess the situation told us that they would order some parts for us. we paid our $70 and we never heard from them againtried to call left many messages with them no one returned our calls no one got back to us. We had to call 210 homebuyers warranty to have them send out another person to then explain to us that our washing machine cannot be fixed and needs to be replaced. The second company that came out they were so nice, the man that helped us told us that usually companies don't want to replace the appliance because it looks bad for them in the eyes of the warranty company that their contract through because they couldn't fix it.
