They bluntly denied any sort of reimbursement and wanted me to contact the manufacturer who is a a US based company (still haven't figured out how to contact them) After experiencing the level of customer service they are giving I changed my decision of buying anymore. She continued to point out that it's is on the receipt (which is pointless after you've bought the item) and reached over the counter and pointed to some area at the bottom of the counter where a sign was. When I asked her why have this policy she said "It's always been that way" ..not helpful. Tip to the store: if you have this abnormal policy, you should verbally warn your customers before their purchase, not after. It gives the impression, you are desperate to sell your stuff and can't afford to give our money back even if we are not happy with your item. Bad customer service. When you step in, all you see are cribs. Kept researching cribs around the city for a crib that was chemical free and safe for our kid while keeping within our budget. We may potentially be purchasing the crib here. The one I want is only $230 CAD and made with solid beech wood. It's also good for small space living. Owner Adam told me the ones with the headboard were not from solid wood and were made with pressed wood. Certifications for the cribs are available for viewing. The organic mattress looks very promising as the price was lower than others I had seen. I also want the 100% cotton chevon bedding set $90, along with the organic waterproof mattress cover $25 or 2 for $40! Going to be splitting this with a friend later. Cannot wait to be back on my next visit to purchase everything. Giving a 4 star for now. I did feel Adam was a bit rushed on the phone but nicer in person. Call before you go especially on weekends as the hours vary. The times are a bit odd as they close at 4:30pm weekdays. Most people are still at work then.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced -- avoid this chair and this brand…read more This has been an unbelievably frustrating experience from start to finish. I purchased the Concord Ellis swivel glider from Walmart, and when the chair began having issues just over a year later (about 15 months old), Walmart immediately refused to help because it was outside the return window. Dealing with Concord directly has been even worse. Their customer service is practically nonexistent. I sent three emails, submitted their online form multiple times, and called their phone number at least 15 times. Their phone line has no voicemail, no call-back option, and no way to be redirected. It feels intentionally difficult to reach anyone. When I finally got through to a representative, I was told the only way they would help is if I brought the chair to them (near Toronto). This is completely unreasonable. The chair was delivered to my home, I live near Ottawa, and I am a single mother who does not drive. Transporting a large glider several hours away is impossible. To make matters worse, the representative actually said to me that "it's not a $3,000 chair, it's a $400 chair," implying that poor quality and terrible customer service should be expected at this price point. That comment was dismissive, insulting, and completely unacceptable -- especially for a baby product. I was vaguely told that a replacement mechanism might be shipped to me, but there is no timeline, no confirmation, and no accountability. Realistically, if anything even arrives, it will likely be weeks away -- if it happens at all. In the meantime, I'm left with an unusable chair that I relied on daily with my child. The customer service representative wanted me to get off the phone as quickly as possible, and I had to gently remind them to take down my name email address and phone number so that they could actually get back to me with a solution that they're able to offer. Between Walmart washing their hands of the issue and Concord making it nearly impossible to get support, I feel completely stuck. This product is just over a year old and already failing, and the company clearly does not stand behind what they sell. Save yourself the stress and do not buy this chair. If something goes wrong, you will be on your own.
