I found Diane via theknot.com, weddingwire.com, then found her on here. I took it as a sign when she popped up 3 times. She was WONDERFUL to work with. I was a bit hesitant at first because she wasn't part of a florist. I was nervous she'd be a crazy person on the internet taking money with no flowers to show for it. Diane calmed my fears on the first phone call. She called me right on time, was very very thorough, and always called me when she said she would. My original idea for the floral color scheme wasn't the best. She told me (kindly) that I should think of other options. If I was 100% positive I wanted to stick with my scheme, she'd do it, but to really think about it. I'm glad I did. It wouldn't been nasty. Like Lisa M., I had a budget and Diane didn't go over. Reasonable prices I was worried that she didn't quite understand what I was ideas I was trying to convey - because I'm horrible at describing things. But looking at pictures of her past work, I trusted her to make it look beautiful regardless. Then we met with her and she created some simple arrangements right in front of us and they seemed great!! Then as it seemed that the San Diego's area had some phone issues the week before the wedding, I was a little worried, but my coordinator said she had no problems contacting her. Bride-to-be, think twice. So Disappointed! Very unprofessional... I used Diane for my wedding flowers in May, 2014. Omg....terrible experience! My bouquet was super small with wilted flowers. I had to take it to VONS to get 2 dozen roses replaced they day of, just on hour before our wedding. The boutonnieres for the men were wilted by the end of the ceremony. And, the ladies' corsages were falling off their wrists with the cheap plastic Diane used to hold them together, and they were completely crooked. THE WORST was the tiki that held the flower arrangement at my ceremony was held together with scotch tape! Then, during the ceremony, the whole arrangement fell on our pastor...I was mortified. It showed this in our wedding photos too. Fyi, Diane mentioned that she was making "kibbles" on my order. I guess if you dont spend enough, this is the service you will get. I am a pretty easy going gal, but this needed to be resolved. I called and emailed Diane FIVE times over the course of three weeks. I havnt heard from her once to even get an apology. She picked up the cake and delivered it to the reception site, she delivered some displays from the ceremony to the reception and then of course the reception. I even remember just loving the fact the was on cue and knew to put the throwing bouquet next to the cake, so that everything was like clock work...cut cake then the bouquet toss. She suggested to have a vase at my seat at the reception for me to place my bouquet. She made all great suggestions and then followed through. I had NO problems at all with her.
