    I had such an amazing experience working with Coastyle Events for my wedding that I don't even know how to put my thank you and recommendation into words. I worked with Ashley and her team for my September 20th wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden. They helped me with month of coordination and decor. Everything was perfect. Ashley is extremely organized and took any pre-wedding stress off of me. She was able to coordinate all of my vendors, put together the most detailed timeline for the day, answered any question I had, and made excellent recommendations as to how the ceremony and reception were to run. I can honestly say there was not a glitch in the day, and that is thanks to Coastyle Events. Furthermore, their eye for detail and decor is amazing. I was able to tell the ladies an image of how I wanted my reception to look, and provided them with only a few pictures to help, and they created the most lovely reception for me- from the flowers and centerpieces, to burlap table runners, to selecting the perfect chairs for my outdoor reception. The team at Coastyle Events is experienced, organized, professional, friendly, and simply lovely to work with. Thank you!

Day-of Coordination: Elena stood out not only on the wedding day but also in the months leading up to it. She was incredibly helpful during the planning process--offering thoughtful insight into creating a seamless timeline and even helping with ideas for decor and place settings tailored to our outdoor, beachy (and occasionally windy!) wedding. She thought of every detail, from preparing us in advance to get those dreamy photos (like the first kiss and cake cutting) to ensuring everything ran on schedule without a hitch. On the day, Elena was a true lifesaver. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception, I never once had to worry about where I needed to be or what was next. She kept everything moving smoothly, pointing me in the right direction while allowing me to fully enjoy the company of our guests and the magic of the day. And she always made sure we were taken care of (never without a drink in hand!). Her leadership and attention to detail made it all so effortless for us. Florals: Melissa tackled all of our floral arrangements, and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out! Working within my limited budget, she brought my vision to life with stunning florals that perfectly matched our style and the seaside setting. I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. She also took my back and forth floral design suggestions and changes very well, as I am quite particular on details in some areas and deferred to her expertise in others. We ultimately chose partial planning based on our venue, Kijamii Overlook at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and she found us incredible vendors to complete our day. Laura and BPED were instrumental in helping us reschedule with all of our vendors. They also were very informative with all restrictions and guidelines and helped us in the decision making process. We had the pleasure of working with Laura as our primary Event Director and she was phenomenal! She was always super responsive, willing to hop on a call to chat through things, and had a great list of vendor referrals. And let me tell you, day of the wedding, she ran the show flawlessly! We had a lot of vendors and rentals we brought in that needed to be directed on where everything went. During the last couple of months leading up to the wedding, we met with Laura multiple times and we walked through everything from rental/item placements, personal items, logistics, etc. and I felt so confident in Laura's vision as well as her understanding of my own vision for the wedding. We always felt such relief after meeting with Laura. The wedding itself was beyond perfect. Every detail that we discussed was executed perfectly. Laura put together an incredible timeline based on what was important to us as a couple on our wedding day. We were able to actually enjoy cocktail hour, we ate dinner (which I've heard can be difficult!), and had hours out on the dance floor.
