    Not sure how many people could handle planning a wedding with TWO BRIDES the way Barb and Amanda did! Twice the dresses, twice the decor debates, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Barb and Amanda. Before we even knew what our vision was, Barb and Amanda patiently worked with us to help us figure it all out. From the moment we started planning our wedding, they were attentive, organized, and truly understood our vision. They made the entire process stress-free, handling every detail with professionalism and care. San Diego was a destination wedding for us, so we did most of our communication with them over email, phone, and text. They spent countless hours answering our questions, brainstorming ideas, and forever problem solving with humor, patience, and encouragement. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and we are so grateful for their dedication. Amanda even made us plates of food and practically forced us to take a break from entertaining our guests to ensure we remembered to eat. Crucial! If you're looking for a wedding planner who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about making your day special, look no further. We highly recommend Barb's Coordination to anyone who wants their wedding to be flawless, fun, and unforgettable.

Barb was the calm through all the wedding storms -- I could call or text her anytime, and she always made herself available with the perfect mix of reassurance and action.     Barb was a lifesaver for me. I was a very DIY and budget conscious bride. I didn't think I could afford a coordinator but all friends pushed me saying "you MUST AT LEAST get someone for the day off/on site coordination" then I found Barb- she was SO MUCH MORE than just the day-of coordinator! I was hesitant to spend the money but I can absolutely say she was so worth it. and not just because of the headaches she saved me in logistics (which is not to be under valued) but literally in dollars and cents because of her knowledge, and experience. examples: *she hired a team that ran my bar (DIY) which saved massively since my venue allowed me to supply my own alcohol *she hired a team to pick up and serve/clear food so I didn't have to pay a costly caterer (we ordered catering from an Italian restaurant that she made look beautiful and had all the professional looking supplies to set it up and serve it hot) *her team took my $200 of self bought food and turned it into a thousand dollar value grazing table/charcuterie board *she had some decor items that saved me from buying things I'd only use once *she had great money saving ideas and solutions you can see She's absolutely worth every penny! Barb is very friendly, and also very chatty, but she is also no-nonsense when it comes to getting stuff done and handling vendors. We had opposing ideas on my seating chart that I valued her perspective but in the end still wanted it my way (against her recommendation) and After that conversation she very much supported me and says "it's your day. How do YOU want it" Work with Barb- you won't regret it

We were absolutely blown away how communicative, friendly, efficient, and experienced Barb & her team are. We had never had the opportunity to work together until we booked a mutual client together.     I don't even know to put into words how much I adored working with Barb on our wedding. She made the whole process so stress free! She gave us vendor recommendations when we needed them, coordinated with all the vendors in the weeks/days leading up to the wedding as well of the day of, walked us through the rehearsal, and then seamlessly managed the Big Day. Her wealth of experience seriously came in handy as she had already covered details I never would have thought of, but could have caused serious stress/issues if she hadn't already planned ahead! It was such a gift to just be able to be in the moment and enjoy my wedding day because I had Barb there to handle everything.

    Worth every penny!!!!! I Had a vision for my daughters wedding and Barb helped make it a reality! She communicated with the vendors and venue so I didn't have to. She was a True leader and put my mind at ease from the beginning. She has so much experience and knows exactly what needs to be done and when it needs to be done. I was able to enjoy every minute of my daughter's wedding because I knew Barb was in control. She is detail oriented and I appreciate that and I know my guests did too! I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. About a year out, we booked with Diana, the owner, who hopped on a couple of calls with us, shared a super helpful timeline template for when to get things done, and gave us a fantastic list of vendor recommendations. Then, two months before the wedding (not just a month out like most services), Diana and Robin (our on-site coordinator) got fully caught up on where we were, helped us tackle last-minute to-do's, reminded us of a few details we'd overlooked, and made sure every "t" was crossed and every "i" dotted. On our wedding weekend, Robin was simply amazing. She handled absolutely everything behind the scenes so we could stay present and enjoy the day. If you are planning to have a beach wedding, they were the perfect blend of month of coordination as well as planning and setup for the beach wedding. They are very organized and were able to give us a timeline with deadlines that kept us on track during the planning process. They also had good tips from their experiences with other weddings when we had questions. The micro packages are definitely more for couples who are ok with doing more active planning themselves, they give you suggestions of local vendors but the couple has to reach out to obtaining pricing and discuss specific details. They also do full service planning but we opted to do more things ourselves as we had fewer details to plan and fewer guests. It is very helpful for the day of coordination that they will have multiple coordinators to set up the ceremony site and the reception site which is often 2 different locations.
