He immediately dismissed me. As soon as he sat down. It turns out It was not nothing. My spleen was enlarged because I have Mantle Cell lymphoma. I waited, unnecessarily believing him, thinking I was overreacting. I reached out to the clinic to complain and no one responded to me except for billing for my correct insurance information. This place does not care about patients. You are a dollar sign. Period. Be an advocate for yourself. Don't always trust the word of doctors. Just because they got through college doesn't mean they're intelligent, good people or care about human life.

The reason I am glad…read moreto be here is that I am having my consult for an endoscopy that puts me one step closer to weight loss surgery (there's a LOT of steps and this is one). Additionally, I am here to be screened for colon cancer after 2 of my friends under 40 have been diagnosed in the last 18 months. Can't be too careful. Scheduling was a mixed bag... the wait to talk to someone after you push the right button was kind of long, but I feel like if you know that going into it, it's ok because you can be prepared to wait. Once I did get on the phone with them, scheduling was painless and quick. They asked questions actually wanted to know WHY I was scheduling - not expecting me to know, since I am not a medical professional - and making sure they set me up with the right kind of provider. I initially was scheduled next month, but I called again to see if there was a sooner opening and there was! So, they set me up with that. They also made sure I knew how to get here. Getting parked and into the building was easy - suite 330, so regardless of which side of 2202 you park on, just grab the elevator or stairs to the third floor and follow the signs! Getting checked in as a new patient was surprisingly smooth. They mailed me my paperwork ahead of time, so having that done, I was checked in and waiting in plenty of time for my appointment. Will update on quality of care once I've met with my PA and scheduled with a doctor for a procedure.

UPDATE: WARNING!!!!…read more I went to WAGI through my Kaiser insurance. Under my insurance Kaiser will pay 100% of the cost with negotiated prices with no financial obligation to me. Guess What??? WAGI sent me a bill for the difference. I called Kaiser and they said I had to pay nothing. Then I called WAGI and told them what Kaiser said. They said the bill went out before Kaiser paid anything and was a "mistake". The bill said Kaiser had paid. You have to watch out for these small clinics. They will send you a bill anyway just to see if you would pay.

My wife did the same 4 months prior and ordered from Gifthealth, recommended by WAGI, $45! Here is the kicker. I called the office one week prior to my procedure with a question and was told the instructions I received were incorrect. I needed an Rx from the doctor for something different than I had purchased because of my age. My wife should have had the Rx, too, but was never told. She followed the over the counter instructions. Be wary of the office staff and ask lots of questions. There are some dangerously clueless people here and you don't know who to trust.

I show up at 7:44am, sit down as there is no receptionist. Lady opens the door, says oh, I didn't see you, it's now 7:46am, she says your one minute late and you have to reschedule! I was like your kidding right, I was a minute before the 5 minute , we argue about the one minute time difference! She calls the police! I was in my truck leaving, Police show up, Police said are leaving, I said yes and left!! Are you kidding me! I hope the dr who i was going to see understands that he lost a paying patient because of his receptionist, and Fransican lost a patient as well! What a joke!
