Brought him 5 knives of various pedigree, 2 that were at least 40 years old but I use all the time, a favorite pocket knife that I could never get sharp and a couple newer ones. When I picked them up, they were the sharpest I have ever seen! Jeff's pricing is very reasonable, especially for the results, and he's a very amiable guy, which just adds to the experience. I couldn't even cut an apple anymore. He put in some serious work and got them to where they should be and even better. I had two Japanese knives and 3 standard chefs knives (JA henckels, Chicago cutlery). I never thought I'd enjoy cutting with the Chicago cutlery as much as I enjoy the Japanese knives but that's how nicely he made them! I also got some great advice on upkeep, including adjusting some of my cutting habits and knife storage. Everything was returned nicely wrapped and in a timely manner !
