Look at the stars at night and cook on the grill. Go with an open mind to relax and get away. We came at Labor Day to get away for 4 days, Michael and his family run a first class place. The owners were communicative, helpful and available from the time I inquired about their property until the day we checked out. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. No detail was forgotten. We were very comfortable, especially at bed time. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Although we were in the woods, we felt safe at all times. The owners were close by as well. The location was far enough away from town but not so far that it was inconvenient to drive and pick something up or go eat. It was so nice to have a designated fire pit right off the house. The grounds were immaculate and full of beautiful sights and sounds. Our first night in, we pulled up and there were 5 deer right in front of our cottage. Just down the long drive, there's a picturesque babbling brook that runs along side the cottage. I could have sat there the entire week and been happy. We will be back with our family to enjoy Arkansas at Stonehill Cottages. I highly recommend these cottages to anyone wanting a beautiful getaway. We went ATV'ing and had the time off our lives. Oh, it was too cold for us, but there's a beautiful lake on the property for fishing and paddle boating. Theres also a small waterfall and swimming hole. Next time...
