I have a tough bathtub drain leakage problem. It is a tough problem to solve unless changing out the whole bathtub. We had Jake come out and fix a few different things in our new home, at first everything was great he was on top of everything the communication was perfect. After he replaced our shower valve we noticed that the water was leaking on the back side of the wall, I immediately took a video and texted him asking when he could stop by to fix it for us, he responded that he would be out timely and would come the following morning around 8am. The following day was 4th of July so we told him it would be okay we could wait till Wednesday since the shower only leaked while it was being used and we understood it was a family day he mentioned either way he would come to fix the leak or let me know by 8am what day and time he would be coming by. On July 4th we waited for a message and nothing, my husband and I messaged him multiple times asking for an ETA and when we could expect him and he hasn't answered since. It seems like this company has a pattern on when things go bad they ghost the customers. For someone who claims to be a "professional" company this is very unprofessional. Please be aware that if Jake does any plumbing and if anything goes wrong he will ghost you and leave you to figure it out. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Jake (owner) installed a water softer for me and hauled away the old one. The price was fare and he didn't try to up-charge like so many other plumbers. He did a good job and took special care to patch the drywall that needed to be removed to get access to the pipe. Shortly after he left, there was a drop per minute type of leak. He came back right away and offered to redo all of the connections free of charge. I felt like that was a bit too much and asked him to simply tighten the leaking connection with an understanding that if it doesn't work (or develops a leak later) he would come out and redo the connections. Luckily, simple quarter of a turn fixed the issue. The fact that he was willing to redo the connections showed me that he is really customer focused and takes pride in his work. I needed a plumber for a shower cartridge replacement. Jake from Diamond Jetting scheduled an appointment for March 7th. After inspection, he suggested cleaning the cartridge instead of replacing it. He assured me it was a long term alternative that had worked for other clients. He cleaned it, reassembled the faucet and left. $112.99, including a ludicrous $14 credit card fee. The first time I turned it on, water poured out from behind the faucet. I texted him video and he replied "Oh no! I'll be by tomorrow morning if you want." I asked for an update on March 8th and he said the parts weren't available and later texted "Hey I was able to get one. I'll come by tomorrow (March 9th) around noon." I confirmed. Jake was a no show, no contact on March 9th. I texted him on the 10th and he claimed he forgot about a visit with his daughter and was "with her all day". Legit businesses know it's a professional courtesy to contact the client if such an occasion arises. Jake texted that I know the problem if I contact another plumber. I responded that "I wasn't going to call another plumber if you plan to schedule again with me soon." He didn't respond, confirming he had abandoned the job. Obviously he didn't get any parts, meaning the story about his daughter is suspect as well. Jake came to our house same day to replace our water heater that started leaking the night before. He told us what to order from Home Depot and he went and picked everything up for a quick install! Ordering the materials yourself is truly an added benefit because it allows you to pick what you're getting and don't have to worry about some big name company overcharging you. My husband arrange with Jake to install 5 new faucets, retrieved an reinstalled an older garbage disposal-saving us the cost of buying another . He did it all, efficiently, promptly and at a resonalble price.
