We just had our patio furniture powder coated and absolutely love the job that was done! The furniture looks better than when it was new. We also had our gate repaired which turned out to be a big job. We were informed along the way what steps were necessary and the cost involved. We went with their recommendations and now have a beautiful gate which will last a very very long time. read more

Jose was great. Measured a few times to get the railing perfect and even matched the trim of the house to powdercoat the railing so it looks like it's always been part of the 1927 Character home. You can see the railing up the stairs and on the raised porch. read more

Jose and his team were recommended to me by a highly respected LA carpenter. We needed to install a railing on the porch of a family member's home. From our first conversation, Jose was professional and very knowledgeable. The final installation of the porch railing on a 1920's home is perfect. It is beautifully powder coated and has made a major improvement overall. I highly recommend Jose and Diamond Iron Works. read more

I had a super emergency, and a friend recommended Diamond for my powder coating needs. I worked with Steve to completely strip and redo a steel furniture frame that was powder coated, plasti-dipped and spray painted over at another unreliable business. I was working with a very tight deadline, and the process of me dropping off the furniture, him powder coating it, and me picking it up was done within 5 business days. WOW! I was impressed. Steve was always very quick to reply to my emails and answered any questions that I had. read more

I debated powder-coating a bistro set that lived outside for 15 years. I found Diamond on-line, comparing services, cost and reviews. This was a lucky find. Jose the owner described the process and Luis promptly picked it up with color samples along with a color recommended by their office staff. She was right! It looks great. Jose's work is impeccable, the job couldn't be better... it's brand new all over again. I'm so happy to have my bistro set look this good! Now, what else can I re-coat... read more

I own a large collection of Brown Jordan Quantum Patio furniture that was in need of refinishing. Diamond was very responsive and offered a reasonable quote, rapid pick up and delivery as promised within the time frame. When I asked them to redo 3 chairs due the mesh having some wrinkles, they took the chairs back without complaint and redid them perfectly. They refused payment until I was satisfied. They are an honest and skillful outfit and I would highly recommend using them. read more

Found these guys through Craigslist, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. I had four hairpin legs custom-made to be affixed to a platform bed frame I was making. Joe made the legs and their brackets extra beefy (to hold the weight of a king-size bed frame, plus people), without sacrificing design integrity. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Had a 20 year old metal patio set that was in need of updating. Called Diamond based on their Yelp reviews, and could not be happier. Very quick and professional response to my inquiry. Reasonable price. Even better, excellent service from Steven and Diamond. On time for pickup. Good advice (do the chairs too; once you see the table, you'll wish you did the chairs). Very fast service (about a week). Excellent result - looks like new. Happy customer! read more

Everything went according to plan, and our refinished patio table is like new again.

My powder-coated picnic table needed re-powdering so I called Diamond after checking with Yelp. It seemed as if their voicemail box was full, but I received a callback quickly anyway. I texted a picture of the table and was given a reasonable price. Both Jose and Juanita were very helpful, picked up my table, did a beautiful job, and returned the table to me the evening my guests arrived, so they could eat dinner in the garden. My table looks great, my patio is complete once again! I would highly recommend this company if you need powder coating! read more

Jose is the best that it gets!! I had my childhood headboard and wanted to convert it into a bench for my front hallway. Try to find someone who could maintain the integrity of the piece and convert my vision into reality...one word JOSE!! He added an armrest and design under the bench to match the design of the headboard. Just fabulous!! So easy to work with and a master craftsman!! Very highly recommend!! read more

Let me just say that these morons wasted 2 hours of my precious time. Based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to drive 1/2 hour to Canoga Park and get some parts sandblasted and powder coated. First off there was 0 parking so after driving around for 20min I finally just stopped in front of their shop for 1/2 hour with another customer that was waiting ahead of me. Finally this guy comes out to deal with the other customer and asks me if I need something, I said yes I'm waiting now for 45min to get a price on sandblasting/powder coating. He takes care of the other customer and disappears. After another 10-15min of this I went inside and asked the girl if I can get some help and a price quote. She went looking for Jose and said he would come outside. After another 10min of this circus, she comes over and says "Sorry he said he's too busy to come and give you a price, you can just drop off the parts and he can call you later with a price.". Are you for f&**@##$ real???? You saw me waiting outside and let me waste 2 hours of my time at your worthless business? People like you should not even be allowed to have a business. Since I do custom work and a lot of my customers need powder coating for their rims and engine parts, I will make sure to send every single one of them elsewhere. This place SUCKS, Jose SUCKS and the customer service SUCKS! Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Thanks to the previous review on Yelp, I decided to contact this place. And I'm glad I did. I needed two metal brackets fabricated for a bed I made for my daughter. I called first and the woman on the phone was super nice, which is always a good start. She told me to draw up the dimensions and bring them over. I did. The three people I dealt with at Diamond were all fantastic. Jose sat down with me and looked at my drawing and confirmed the details. He gave me a good price and two days later I picked up my brackets. They were perfect. Just awesome. I highly recommend this place. I love doing business with small companies. And though my job was kind of small, they treated me like I was their best customer. Thanks, Jose and team. Appreciate the great work and service. read more

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the work Diamond did on my (very) old, outdated, ugly, rusty and dilapidated Brown-Jordan patio set. I called and set up an appointment to see about having said set repaired and restored. Steve came out fully equipped with color samples for the refinishing and fabric samples for the reupholstery. I went through everything with him, picked out what I liked, got an estimate and gave him a date that I needed the set back by. That was it. He stayed in touch with me, maybe once or twice, and called to ask if he could deliver the finished product a week earlier (!) than we originally agreed. My jaw dropped to the ground when Steve returned my set. I hoped it would look nice. I thought there was a good chance it would even look current, but I had no idea that my once outdated, ugly and ready for the junk pick up service, could look THIS incredible. These guys gave me a brand new, beautifully restored patio set (for the exact amount of the estimate) that could rival, and even surpass ANY new Brown-Jordan (or any other manufacturer, for that matter) available today. It is stunning. Their attention to detail, stellar workmanship, fair pricing and being sticklers for keeping their word, make Diamond a rare breed, indeed. In a world where people do less for more money, cut corners whenever they can and rarely stand behind their work, it's refreshing to know that there is a business out there who take the definition of integrity to new heights. Thank you, Diamond, and to Steve specifically. You guys ROCK. I will recommend you over and over, with confidence. read more

I'm very happy with the service and quality of work from Diamond. Steve Prieto is a first class guy. My 15 year-old Gloster outdoor furniture was in pretty bad condition. They made it all look almost new, at under 25% of the cost of actually buying new. They ran into some technical problems with my 2 chaise lounges, but invented their own specialized tools to replicate what can normally only done at the Gloster factory. I was super impressed, and the finished product looks great! These guys are old-fashioned craftsmen who deliver exactly what they promise. read more

If you need great results, excellent customer service and very competitive pricing, Diamond is the place to go. Steven is professional, responsive and committed to providing the best result. From the beginning, he was extremely knowledgeable about our 50-year old dining set, he knew what needed to be done and what color would compliment the rest of our furniture. His recommendation turned out to be just perfect. You won't find a better company to make your pieces look like new. We couldn't believe the set when we saw it and have enjoyed it everyday since we got it back. Thank you Steven and Diamond!!! read more

My husband and I were interested in buying some lawn furniture for our newly landscaped backyard. I was on a mission to make our yard inviting, festive and comfortable! Well, when we actually went out looking for furniture with our ideal vision and color choices, we were left with less than anything inspiring! We instead decided to be creative, and had Steve, from Diamond Powder Coating, come over to our home and help give us some color scheming ideas for our (almost) retired patio furniture. We couldn't be happier we did too! Our furniture was completely re-done and it could not be more gorgeous! Steve powdercoated all of the pieces and adorned the chairs and chaises with new vinyl and beautiful fabric, and then delivered it all back to us! It looks like we purchased new furniture and we spent only half of what we budgeted for! We are so pleased with Diamond Powder Coating and Steve and all of his professionalism and flawless work he has done for us! read more
