The quality of jewelry is outstanding a tad pricey. I have never seen the size and the quality of diamonds that are in their cases. I've been to Chicagos Diamind District or Boston. Any storefront like that doesn't normally carry 20 carat diamonds in the cases and keep them there. If you're looking for fine jewelry and you want the best I would recommend this place. I am a super stickler for diamonds and I recommend it. The staff do what's necessary to make you a happy camper if they can. I've already eyeballed a pair of earrings that I'm afraid to ask what it cost, but I will then I'll mail it, but I'm already doing something very lofty for me. It's not a usual purchase. To start, I do not submit many reviews, but had to share how impressed I was with the outstanding service I received from Song Ocasio at The Diamond District. I stopped in the store as I wanted my wedding ring solitaire prongs checked and had a pendant necklace that flopped to the side with a broken necklace clasp. Not high dollar transactions. Song kindly greeted me immediately as I came in and treated me as though I was spending thousands even when she knew the reason for my visit. She took my ring, had it cleaned to a new sparkly state and adjusted the prongs to relieve my fears of losing my stone. She then took my pendant to one of their amazing artisan jewelers to get some ideas on what could be done to keep it from flipping on its side. Lo and behold, they proposed taking the single bail (the loop that holds the pendant on the chain) into "bunny ears." She showed me what it would look like and I was excited with the idea. She also quoted me the price to replace my clasp. In less than one week they had the necklace ready for me- matching the brilliant sparkle of my ring and the bunny ears look even better than the single bail- and no flop! I will be back to the Diamond District when it's time for a higher dollar purchase based on the outstanding service on my small dollar repair. About a year ago I was interested in purchasing a diamond & also needed a Platinum ring sized down. From previous dealings & experiences with 2 other businesses (1 featuring Pre Owned Rolexes,) & the other a satellite store from a Naples home, I was quoted in the $150 -175 range to size down a platiunum band a 1/4 size. I ignored the "Rolex" store based on previous dealings knowing their PricePoint over Quality priorities. When visiting Diamond district they did a quality sizing (on premises) for $90.00 ! Soon after I was interested in purchasing a diamond in the 1 -1.50 ct range. I had a clear idea of what I liked as far as color, cut , etc from experience & followed up with Shane on getting some stones, knowing diamonds are not marked up anywhere near what the public assumes. I wasn't interested in calling old sources & dealing with the shipping costs & times & wanted to have a local jeweler I could trust & relate to, & after seeing their available inventory & quotes, they were as good if not better than I would have gotten. They've gone above & beyond taking care of other things too. I came in one day in October after work to buy a diamond ring for myself (I recently got engaged, and while my fiance and I are somewhat non-traditional, I wanted to celebrate this and many other wonderful things that have recently transpired in my life). I'd done a lot of research and talked to a lot of people about where to go, and all signs pointed here. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Warren, who began by finding out what I was looking for and helping me to narrow down my choices. He was highly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about and experienced with fine jewelry, but also completely unassuming; some jewelers seem to be quite stuffy, but I didn't get this impression at all from either him or the store as a whole. He really got to know me, and in the course of conversation, it came up that none of the employees work on commission, so I knew his interest in helping me was genuine. He guided me to a ForeverMark diamond, which I learned were often significantly less expensive than traditional diamonds, AND of much higher quality (less than 1% of the world's diamonds have enough quality to qualify, and the store is the only in SWFL to carry them). They're also sourced ethically and from a branch of DeBeers that promotes the advancement of women, both of which are very important factors to me. Warren had a printout, from which he found three stones that fit what I wanted. I ended up choosing a 1.52-carat radiant-cut diamond (for the same price of another brand, it would've been almost 40% more for lesser quality, plus raising ethical questions about its sourcing). They have literally hundreds of bands to choose from from a wide variety of brands; I also found exactly what I had in mind in this regard. The initial fitting was a tiny bit too big, but they have a goldsmith in-house who was able to adjust it for the next day. Financing was a breeze; 0% interest for two years. Although I have excellent credit, I got the impression they'll work to get you the best deal possible. I also learned that they'll clean your ring for free at any time, and upon registering on the ForeverMark website, I got a free cleansing kit in the mail. (Diamonds can also be cleaned with isopropbyl alcohol.) In sum, I would strongly recommend Diamond District to anyone. DON'T TAKE YOUR JEWELRY HERE TO REPAIR!!! USE DUNKIN'S DIAMONDS INSTEAD. The band to my Mom's engagement/wedding ring had become so thin it broke. I took it in to have them repair it and replace a diamond that had fallen out. They removed the pearl so it wouldn't get damaged when they replaced part of the band and put in the diamond. Two weeks later the pearl and diamond fell off. They fixed it then another week later the pearl fell off again. Fortunately I didn't loose the pearl but wouldn't trust them again to try and repair it or anything else. I had Dunkin's Diamonds fix the pearl and poor quality of work done on the replaced diamond. They guarantee the pearl not to fall off for a year which is something Diamond District refused to do. read more

Song returned with several stones in a variety of sizes, colors, & quality. After looking at several princess cuts, we found a beautiful 1.44 ct princess cut diamond. My husband is an engineer so spontaneous is definitely not in his makeup - rather he needs to research, price compare & analyze. So when he said - "it's beautiful, let's get it" I nearly fell out of my chair! There was no pressure, no sales pitch, etc - had there been we would have left because I can't stand that approach. In less than 7 days I had my new ring & my original stone mounted as a pendant. When I picked it up I thanked Song & she was excited as I was about how it turned out! I lost my original engagement ring and thankfully had insurance coverage. We had worked with another big jewelry company and just weren't happy with the services. They didn't have what we were looking for in a band and didn't seem to want to order it. We had to wait for center stones to come in and after two weeks it just seemed like there was very little communication between them and the insurance company, once things did get worked out it would still be another week or two before we would have the replacement. We decided to make the drive to diamond district and ARE SO GLAD WE DID! We worked with Shane there and he was amazing, if he wasn't available Warren would keep in touch with us and follow up. They had so much to choose from and had stones on site. We had the whole thing picked out in an hour. They touched base with me every day to let me know they were communicating with the insurance company. Once they had the check from the insurance company they had my ring put together in a day instead of a week. I live about 40 mins from there so they had one of their employees who lived in ft myers meet me with my ring and paperwork. Heard the commercials on tv and radio for the Diamond District featuring Jason and Todd. I recently said yes to a marriage proposal and we decided to go there to find a diamond ring . We had been to three other places and had just not been happy with anything we saw. When we got there we were greeted and shown some settings. We were then introduced to Shane who is a certified gemologist. He was patient and knowledgeable as we changed the entire setting and diamond we had originally selected. Our selected setting is so unique and the diamond was perfect. We also got a free dinner at Angelina's for purchasing the ring. That made for another special evening. This ring is one that I will look at every day and never be tired of it. It sparkles and has such beautiful color and the setting of smaller diamonds around the one carat make it a one of a kind. The smaller diamonds wrap around the setting in a little twist.. They will clean the ring for us and check the setting and replace any of the smaller diamonds. Our experience with Diamond District began pleasant. Rosemary was incredibly helpful when helping my fiance choose my engagement ring. She taught him all about the different types of diamonds and their quality. She also recommended a ring that my fiance ended up choosing and I absolutely love it! That being said my engagement ring was everything I wanted and more. However, since receiving my ring we have had some issues. Less than 6 months after my fiance proposed I lost a diamond! Fortunately, Diamond District offers free diamond replacement of .25 carat diamonds or less as well as free cleaning. We happily returned to the diamond district to have it fixed. when we got the ring back a week later it looked just as good as new. Unfortunately, the same stone fell out less than a month or so later. This time we couldn't get it fixed immediately due to our hectic schedules so it wasn't until about 2 months later when we were finally able to get back to the store to get the stone replaced again. After explaining to Rosemary that the same diamond fell out, she assured us that they would build up the metal so that this wouldn't happen again. She told us it would take a week to replace since they were going to do extra work on it. When my fiance called to check if it was ready, they told him it was going to take another couple days to a week for it to be done. The second time we picked up the ring it once again looked as good as new! It has been 3 weeks since they replaced the diamond and built up the metal to ensure the stones were secure and unfortunately, I have once again lost the same diamond. This is the third time in less than 1 year. My fiance spent a lot of money on this ring and it is concerning that this problem didn't seem to be fixed as our engagement pictures are coming up and were taking close ups of the ring. This was the 5th store My fiance and I went to trying to find a contoured band that would fit snug against my engagement ring - which is an unusual shape. We even went back to the store where he had purchased my engagement ring and they offered us 1 option that did not fit against my ring and basically gave us the take it or leave it option. We started searching around without much luck...UNTIL, I found Diamond District! I found a ring on their website that looked like the right shape. I called and was connected with Song over the phone, she knew the exact ring I was referencing just based on the style number and suggested a couple different options. I made an appointment with her for later that week (and I'm pretty sure she came in on her day off just to meet us!). She showed us dozens of options and gave us an AMAZING price. We purchased the ring that day and then came back in the following weekend and the jeweler customized the band on site in about 2 hours to fit perfectly against my engagement ring!!! It is a contoured, white gold, pave set diamond band - so I know this was not an easy task. They custom fitted it and sized it all for no charge. The service we received here was AMAZING!
