When we came to Diamond District we though it was unusual to actually find someone locally who could be polite in Florida, as well as competitive away from New York, but little would I know how competitive these people actually are and what a true pleasure to do business with they are are also! I went with the 30 day financing - with the S.D.L.S. program (systematic destruction of life savings program in only one month, and she's supposed to love me?) and my fiance made sure it hurt significantly with her experience in knowing diamonds as well. 30 days later we walked out with an impressive LARGE, multi-carrot round solitaire and a very good taste in our mouth still, go figure, as this is rare now-a-days! It was the finest stone we could find on America's east coast! Did I say it was multi carrot and LARGE? Well, surprisingly, while others had nothing to look at in inventory, the Diamond District not only had a huge inventory but tapped into another Chicago dealers inventory and then brought it home to Florida for us! Jay kept showing us diamonds and the girls were so polite, fun and professional and also, Jason was also there to offer me support, "the pain will go away Bern he kept on saying LOL. Do yourself a favor and if you're in Naples or even Miami, take the time to shop with this team of experts, as no one beats their inventory and prices in S. Any storefront like that doesn't normally carry 20 carat diamonds in the cases and keep them there. If you're looking for fine jewelry and you want the best I would recommend this place. I am a super stickler for diamonds and I recommend it. The staff do what's necessary to make you a happy camper if they can. I've already eyeballed a pair of earrings that I'm afraid to ask what it cost, but I will then I'll mail it, but I'm already doing something very lofty for me. It's not a usual purchase. I told them I was in no hurry for anything except the wedding ring because our 50th wedding anniversary was coming up and I would really like it for that if at all possible. They said some of the rings could be fixed with a ring guard that would be significantly less expensive. After checking my size for EACH ring, not just a blanket size for all rings, they asked if we'd like to go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours as it was going to take some time to figure everything up. When we went back in 2 hours they had figured everything up, determined which rings could fit ring guards AND had my wedding ring sized and cleaned for me. I was ecstatic-still am. Our neighbors originally referred us here and we are very happy they did. Amore Jewelers is definitely a 5* in my book.

BEWARE - My 45-Year-Old Heirloom Ring Was Swapped I am…read morewriting this to warn others after a devastating experience at this establishment. On July 22, I brought my solid gold ring--which I have owned and worn for 45 years--to be appraised. I dealt directly with the manager, Mark. At the time of drop-off, I was told they could not take a picture of my ring. When I returned on September 3 to pick it up, the ring I was given was not mine. It was a "nugget" style ring with six small diamonds, whereas my original ring was a solid band that had never been sized. The ring they handed back to me clearly shows sizing marks on the back, something my original ring never had because it always fit perfectly. I spoke with the owner, Bill Skidmore, who insisted the nugget ring was mine, offering no resolution or accountability. I also noticed that when I picked up the ring, Mark took back my original drop-off slip and replaced it with a new one. I have since taken the "new" ring to the Diamond District, where it was confirmed to be a completely different style from what I originally owned. This ring was intended for my daughter and held 45 years of sentimental value. I am heartbroken and feel completely deceived. Please think twice before leaving your precious items here for "service."

She not only made the special effort to find me a mixed metal chain that could be used as an anklet but, she went out of her way to text me a pic, have me come in to see it, measure it then sized it with great turn around time. And, she has sized a few other pieces for me as well. When I come in she always has a smile, is friendly whether I make a purchase or not and offers to clean other pieces I'm wearing when I stop by to look.
