My attention was immediately captured by a stunning pair of Thom Browne tortoise shell glasses. Because I have no willpower whatsoever, I went in and asked to try them on. Though my vision is quite good at 20/15, I love a good pair of statement eyeglasses. The Thom Browne tortoise shell glasses were just the statement I've been on the hunt for. I love the classic tortoise shell color with the sleek, modern rectangular lines of the frames. I knew I was in trouble when I tried them on and they looked great on me. At $675, they are also an investment, though I'm a big believer in buying less, and spending more for quality. Josh of Kitto Optical encouraged me to snap a photo of the frames and take my time thinking about it. The next few days I was STILL thinking about the Thom Browne frames and called Kitto Optical to buy them. Josh answered the phone and was so nice and helpful. Not only did he give me a great price on the frames, he also offered to personally drop them off at my house in Philadelphia so I wouldn't have to wait to get them!!! As I don't have a car, I was blown away by his thoughtfulness and consideration. Josh was AMAZING!! I have been looking at Chrome Hearts eyeglasses for many years and after visiting so many boutique eyeglass stores along with the Chrome Hearts store on Washington Street in Manhattan, I decided to pull the trigger. Once I decided on them I did not know how difficult it would be to find a store that had them in stock and at the best price. This is where Josh made me a believer. What's sets Chrome Hearts apart is they use only the highest quality materials and their commitment to slow, artisanal craftsmanship. Every pair of glasses undergoes a tough quality control process. They use only the finest materials, such as .925 sterling silver and premium-grade lenses, to ensure that their products are both durable and visually a conversation piece. The other stores I visited did not make me feel wanted as a customer, did not have the model and color I wanted in stock and did not offer the best price. I wanted the glasses to wear for an upcoming conference and awards meeting at the of September. I first came to Josh in Early July. He did some checking and felt confident on meeting the date I gave him even though others couldn't. He knew I was set on the Chrome Hearts pen 15 and was committed to find them. In the end I just picked them up on September 9th not knowing what he went through to make this happen. After I picked them up he shared that all indications were that through the normal ordering system he would not be able to deliver them until February 2024. Josh was not discouraged, literally did a world wide search and negotiated to get them from Asia on the promised price. He showed me all the emails he had to send to accomplish this feat. I can only say I was blown away by his commitment, dedication, poise and honesty. I would highly recommend them and will be beck for eyeglasses in the future.

The item was delivered later than promised, which already caused an issue with my intended use. When the sunglasses arrived, I immediately noticed multiple problems: * Visible smudges and marks on the lenses upon arrival * The frame does not fold properly and sits uneven when closed * Branding placement, lens quality, and overall construction do not match authentic Cartier standards when compared to genuine Cartier eyewear I own Because of these concerns, I posted an honest review describing my experience. After that review was posted, I was contacted directly by the seller and asked to send the glasses back and remove my review in exchange for making them "perfect." Screenshots of this message are attached. Additional messages show the seller dismissing my concerns, suggesting we "move on," and offering a partial credit instead of properly addressing the defects and authenticity concerns. These screenshots are also attached. Rather than resolving the issues transparently, I felt pressure to remove my review as part of any proposed solution. This was concerning and unprofessional. Based on the late delivery, visible defects, fit and folding issues, authenticity concerns, and how the situation was handled, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution or avoid purchasing altogether.
