Greg and company greeted me by name and I told him we were looking for diamond studs. He explained that he has mined and lab diamonds. The latter have great color and sparkle and are considerably less costly. They do have flaws but are not detectable to the naked eye. These guys are AMAZING! I got a PERFECT diamond for my fiancé here. Sometimes I catch her just staring at it, still. The service and quality of product could not have been better. I did not know much about diamonds in the beginning of my search, but by the time I got to this store, I knew exactly what I wanted and after listening to so many sales pitches from the crooks on jeweler's row, I was more than a little reluctant when I walked into The Gold Exchange. I did not get a sales pitch here, it was more like having a conversation and I felt at ease right away. I looked at the diamond I had talked about on the phone and loved it and Greg even let me take it outside to look at it in natural light. After spending about 45 minutes scrutinizing the diamond, I felt confident that I was getting exactly what I was promised. I knew I wanted the diamond, but asked to wait 5 days to make a purchase because I did not want to be impulsive. They let me wait the 5 days without even leaving a deposit and I returned feeling confident about my purchase.
