First we were…read moretold and it was advertised that the refinishing process of sanding to our wood flooring would be dust free...once they started sanding we were told that they could no longer advertise dust free and that there would be dust. Our floors that were guaranteed to last 10-15 years lasted about 2 years. There is whitening in some areas, more shine in some areas and not in others, bubbles and waves where the finish was not applied smoothly and wood pulling away from the wall and showing past the 1/4 round that we needed to install after floors were refinished. The company does not back their employees or their product. I would not recommend them for floor refinishing.

There was apparently a low spot in the floor of the tub that had caused water to collect and cause the rust. Paul evaluated it and said that they could probably level it out before putting on the finish to correct the problem. It turned out looking great! I had concerns about slipping on the new surface since I previously used a vinyl mat with suction cups which you cannot use on a reglazed tub. The woman at the office ( sorry, I forgot her name) was very helpful. I went in and could try out the various options with bare feet to see what worked. I got the mat that they sold plus had grab bars installed by Phil when he did the reglazing. Overall a good experience and a reasonable price.

I have twenty-seven handles for drawers in our kitchen and bathrooms. My wife wanted to replace…read morethem with exactly the same style, but with a different finish. The handles were powder-coated black, but my wife wanted some in polished chrome and the rest in brushed nickel. I looked everywhere - EVERYWHERE - for these handles, but they just weren't available. Finally, I approached the previous owner of our home with our problem, and she suggested that we just take the handles to McKenzie Chrome Plating and get the handles refinished. I was kind of skeptical because the handles had been powder coated, which is a real pain to strip. However, the good people at McKenzie Chrome Plating said they could do it - and they were right! Somewhat surprisingly, McKenzie Chrome Plating didn't charge me an arm-and-a-leg for the job, and they finished the job in a timely manner. I was surprised by this, because I have to believe that this was a small job for them. The best part is that I have now had the handles back in use for about four months, and they look beautiful! McKenzie Chrome Plating did a very professional job. The handles look brand-new, and actually have BETTER finishes than what you'll find on hardware from the big-chain hardware stores. Definitely NOT "made in China." I highly recommend McKenzie Chrome Plating. I am positive that you won't be disappointed by their service.
