After they finished and left, we were very happy with the job they had done. No unpleasant surprises in the form of drops of paint where they didn't belong. My husband did a lot of research and got several estimates in order to find a painting company that would paint our house according to his standards. In the end, he chose Harris Painting. It was early July and they were so busy that they told us they wouldn't be able to get to our house until the end of October. We thought we might have to wait till spring, but true to their promise, they contacted us and between early rains got the job done. On the day the work was to begin, the paint was delivered just before sunrise. Cliff, the owner, showed shortly after with a crew of 8. They spent the first few hours prepping everything meticulously. Then they got down to the business of painting -- two coats. It was immediately obvious that these men were very experienced, cared about their work, and were proud of what they were doing. This is definitely a reflection of strong leadership and mutual respect. Cliff checked with us to make sure we liked the color we had chosen and the quality of the work they were doing. Horrible. Harris painting ruined our house. We had them paint the interior of our house and they did a horrible job. They got paint all over our brand new carpet. Got paint on pretty much every light fixture in the house. All over the door hinges and knobs. They did not prep the stained doors and wood trim in the house. We where changing to white. We had to have all the doors and trim changed in the house , on recommendation from the painter that fixed the mess. He said it would be better to just change it out instead of trying to sand everything. They also quit halfway through. We also had brand new cabinets in the entire house. They pretty much ruined them. We had to hire another painter to come in and scrape the blobs of caulking out and re-sand them all, and repaint. Its been about a year since they wrecked everything. Would not talk to us. They sent us another bill, after we already paid them half up front. Had fake lien notices sent to us. Eventually we won a settlement with his insurance company to cover most of the work we had to have done. took about a year. DO NOT USE HARRIS PAINTING!!!!! It was my understanding that the CCB had 3 other pending claims against Harris paint the last time I spoke to them. I have never left a review on anything before. I don't want this happen to anyone else. read more

Nobody likes getting their house painted. it's an expense we'd all like to avoid and the experience can be frustrating as well. I'm happy to say that Harris painting made the whole process easy. First, the quote made sense and was very fair. Second, the Harris team worked their butts off to make sure the house was properly cleaned, prepped and caulked before they put on the paint. Our house exterior was painted by the Harris paint crew last week. I was home most of the time and witnessed their work. They did an exceptional job of prepping and painting the house and fence. I have looked at the paint job often and I am totally satisfied. The painters had an efficient process of prepping, ceiling windows off, spray painting the exterior, applying a second coat, and then painting the trim. Harris Painting was hired by the previous owners of home we purchased prior to us moving in. Initially we thought the paint looked nice, but once we started moving in we noticed all the errors. The trim work is very sloppy and we're going to have to do a lot of touch up work. It seems that in the carpeted rooms they didn't tape down the carpet enough so there's multiple areas of unpainted trim where the carpet initially covered it. All of our screens have paint all over them that doesn't wash off so we had to replace the screens on every single window! In the bathroom both the floor and toilet has paint spray on them that we can't get off and are slowly chipping it off with a razor. Around the trim on the doors they did a terrible job of taping again and there's multiple sections of the old paint that show and in other areas where they painted outside of the lines around the trim getting it onto a a different colored wall. Would not recommend Harris Painting to anybody. read more

They showed up on time Everytime as promised which seems like a simple thing but we've had trouble with that while working with other painters in the area. They sent a color specialist to help us select the right colors, such a nice touch! We have a 2 story home and they brought a large crew to make short work of our project. Clifton showed up the next day, he actually looked at my house and then delivered an estimate within the week that was broken down into the exact options I asked for, and it was reasonable.
