I have been a customer of Diamond Cannabis, Grants Pass, since they opened for business many years ago. I am 71yo, retired, and live on a small, fixed income. I entered the store the week of July 1, 2024 asking, specifically, for a high % CBD, OIL tincture. I cannot drink alcohol. The Customer Rep said she did not have that but had one with the same %'s I requested, in a "Fluid". She even stated that I could still use the eye dropper from an old OIL Tincture bottle, to measure it out. Got home. Took one eyedropper full. Immediately sensed something wrong. Checked the ingredient list: "...contains Ethyl Alcohol...". I Just came back from the store with the goal of returning the product for a refund. I was informed by the Manager that she could not accept the Return "because the bottle had been opened (1 dropper full missing). This bottle costs $22. Significant for someone in my financial state. This product would NOT have been purchased without the Diamond Cannabis employee recommendation. I have been a long-term, loyal customer. I do not plan to Return. The 3 were rude and 1 of the 3 (long braid with shorter grey hair on sides) flipped us off multiple times and yelled, cursed at us and parked his vehicle near us laying on his horn to harrass us. Purchased some edibles (cookies) and later noticed that they were 2 months old, with only 3 days left before the expiration date. I returned them to the store, unopened and still refrigerated, and expecting to exchange them for a fresher product. The clerk made a phone call to whoever is in charge and the answer was that they had not exceeded the expiration date so they were still good and could not be exchanged. The clerk informed me how annoying it was to go through old transactions, handed me back the wet pen, and there was nothing he could do for me. There was a person on the sidewalk, outside the business, inviting us in. We decided to take a tour of the new business. I should mention that we were in town as visitors from Reno, NV and had been visiting my 84 year old father, who was with us at the time. We were all impressed with the simple clean lines and decor of the store. Everything was beautifully displayed and clearly priced. We had a few questions that we addressed to the waiting helpers behind the counter, and they were answered politely and knowledgeably. The prices were more reasonable than back home at our medical cannabis dispensary. I hope that when Nevada starts their recreational sales in July 2017, that we have a store that is this nice and friendly. Grants Pass should be proud! read more
