Just wanna say I still hate smiling with my teeth . And they don't even care about your teeth only money. During my treatment I asked about the flare in my teeth and they just brushed it off so after my $3000 braces treatment was over I came back again because I hated the flare I had and they said they could fix it for another $2000. The doctor said I could shave them down but I went to another orthopedist and thank goodness I did because she said the only way to actually push back my teeth is with tooth extraction but she doesn't recommend shaving them or extracting because my roots on 2 teeth are too short and it would be too damaging which is something they did NOT TELL ME! read more

This place is a joke. Multiple issues during the course of my daughter's orthodontic treatment. Billing was a mess. Extra charges outside of the contract constantly. The staff is incredibly rude. On multiple occasions we have gone to an appointment (after taking child out of school and taking time off work) to be told the doctor had "an emergency". Schedule is not flexible. I went for a consultation and was told I needed braces right away. I did X-rays and got braces and was told 2 years. upon the day of my removal I was told I had a balance which I asked if I could break it down into 3. I was told no. that was August. I still have the braces in my mouth which I'm sure have now messed up and teeth but the problem now is that no one has called me since ! plus there's a sign about accepting insurance and they don't. this is my second time visiting the Hackensack location. I originally started my treatment here, then switched to Fairlawn location because they're much cleanerand professional. I came in for an emergency appointment because my wire was sticking inside my gum causing extreme pain. My appointment was at 12:30. I arrived at 12:24 and I wasn't seen till 1 PM. The lady in the desk told me I need to sit down and wait and she doesn't care because I'm not gonna skip anybody in line, which wasn't what I was trying to do. She was extremely disrespectful and nasty to me, saying she doesn't give a fuck. She don't care is what she kept stating. I even spoke to the manager, and the manager was just laughing and not saying anything and that's crazy too me lol i don't know how the owner would feel about this but i bet they'll brush it off and she'll continue to disrespect people. I recently just searched up their reviews and was baffled that they have a two star rating and all of these bad reviews. I was literally afraid something was going to happen lol. going back to the woman at the desk maria i think her name is she even got up out her seat and tried to intimidate me as if she wanted to fight and she wasn't told anything by her manager. Save your time and money stay away! I set up an appointment for a "free initial consultation". During the consultation the price for invisialign went from $5000 with insurance to under $4000 paying cash. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesperson. I called back the following week to get the braces, and the price went up hundreds of dollars with a threat that the promo was expiring the following week and that it would be $300 more in a few days. This was after I confirmed the price would be valid for a week. Mind you this is for a 18+ month relationship! The low price was nothing more than a high pressure sales tactic. I'm glad I didn't fall for it. 6 weeks later, a bill for $300 was reported to me by my insurance company for the "free" consultation. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and asked them to honor their price, they didn't. I asked them to refund my insurance. They claim they'll send a letter to my insurer. I suspect that isn't over. Sad. The dentist seemed like a nice guy, I suspect they do good work. Their billing department made it easy to go elsewhere. This company made me understand why people hate the dentists, hint, its not the drill. read more

If you're reading this, please do not waste your time or money at this place (especially the Staten Island location). Every time I've gone to this place, they messed up my billing and tried charging me hundreds of dollars more than I actually owed. Thankfully, I saved my original contract and every receipt they've given me. Diamond Braces told me my treatment would take at least 18 months, when my primary/other orthodontists after I went for second opinions, told me it should take no longer than 4 months. Towards the end of my treatment, they told me that my insurance stopped covering part of the treatment ($1,800) and expected me to pay upfront. After contacting my insurance, they told me this was not true. After this, I finished my treatment elsewhere. The more people I ask, the more horror stories I read about this place. read more

How I wish I would of looked up the reviews for this company. They are dishonest crooks. So I paid 4200 out of pocket for my child's braces , no insurance used I told them I would submit claims directly to my insurance myself. After submitting my insurance claim for reimbursement I find OUT by my insurance that Diamond braces submitted a claim and they are getting the $1840 that shouldn't reimbursed to me. My insurance is not sure why they would submit a claim since I paid for services upfront and told them would reach out MYSELF to my insurance for reimbursement. So of course I get the run around from this company and finally speak with a lady Ziorky who understands the situation and ensures me that they will forward me the payment my insurance sends them( 2 payment of $920.) Now another lady joceltn called me and saysthey are keeping 500 of the 920 because they amount I paid was not the correct price and now since my insurance sent them money the price changes to $5400. Braces are expensive and it just infuriates me that since I already started treatment with these thieves I don't have much choice unless I get another few grand to seek continual care elsewhere. ​ Just complete baloney. Terrible experience! I previously had braces in the past, but one of my upper teeth was overlapping another one so I went to Dr. Oleg basically to fix the one overlapping tooth. I had the braces at Diamond braces on for almost 2 years and when they were removed the tooth looked exactly the same and the rest of my teeth that were originally straight had shifted forward. Also, Dr. Oleg said he filled my teeth to fix the problem and this did not fix the problem! I spoke to him about returning my money so I could go to a different specialist and he refused. This guy is dishonest, arrogant, and on top of that incompetent! Please don't go here, save your money, your teeth, and the headache! The office wait time is terrible at well. They schedule you at one time and do not see you until 1 hours from your actual appointment time. Once you go inside you sit in a strange single office that shares the dental chairs with 4 other patients. there is no privacy. And the dentist goes from patient to patient. This is to update my prior review. Diamond braces recently started an automatic monthly payment system now, which is convenient and fair. My dental treatment is going well so far and it should be noted that my prior review had NOTHING to do with my Invisalign treatment or the dentists there. Not once did I even talk about my treatment, so I really hope to avoid any confusion. The doctor has been giving sound advice as to how to proceed with my treatment and is very patient. My prior review really had more to do with the administrative function of Diamond braces, which I see has been improving. I came here a few times when I was 14 to start the procedure for braces, but never really did anything until I was 18. From the start, I've never liked this place. First of all, I am Chinese, I speak English fluently. The staff at this place seem to speak Russian or Ukrainian. I dont really know, but they seem to always chat 24/7 in their language and can't stop. Their EXCESSIVE chattery has been getting on my nerves since day 1 and I managed to go through with it for a year now. Each time I would visit for my appointment, the "doctor" at the time would look at my teeth, then tell an assistant what teeth to do what with. I have no idea who my doctor is and who has seen me, due to the lack of communication. The doctor after looking at my teeth would then walk away, drink coffee at the corner and chat with his coworkers. The assistant who is assigned to me would then proceed with the orders the doctor gave him, but at the same time as he is operating on me, he would constantly look up, not pay attention at all to what he is doing with my mouth and CHAT WITH THE DOCTOR. I find that extremely irritating and unprofessional, since its in another language, so whether if its work related or not, it doesn't matter. They are chatting. **** In addition to their chatting, they never tell you what they will do to you! Out of nowhere an assistant would pull out a drill and start using it on you!!!! **** I was forced to this location after nowhere in Brooklyn would accept my insurance. Wow, I can't believe I didn't think to check the yelp reviews before I booked my Invisalign consultation appointment here. I wouldn't have wasted my time. So, I decided to go with another orthodontist after 4 different consultations. This place was a runner up though & according to the other reviews, it seems like I dodged a bullet. This place is a braces factory. There are a million people waiting & it seems like there are a million doctors (or technicians) running in the back. I didn't wait long at all! What I didn't like was the receptionist. She was so rude and condescending the whole time from the first minute to the last. When I realized she was the lady who handles payment/finance there, I assumed she runs the joint & I really didn't know if I could handle being talked down to for the next 16 months. As I continued to go on other consultations, I realized they didn't talk at all about after care & maintenance. I didn't like that either. I'm glad I didn't go with this place. I was seduced by how quick the whole appointment went, but that was about the only positive thing I could say. Oh also, the doctor I saw was ok enough. Did not like it that I have to pay $300 for lower retainers that my son had broken two weeks after attending a two week cruise and did not report it within a month since I came back (July 5 -it was done and was broken within two weeks when I came back on July 22) . I had an appt on aug 9 and the secretary told me that since it was more than a month that we have to pay $300, we been going to this place for two years and cannot believe that they can't make any excuse for a few days and was told that it was company policy that it has to be a month. I am so disappointed withe Edison office! Don't be fooled by the reviews that come up when you google them. Little did I realize that they are all reviews on their own website and not on google! First, they are a factory line for braces! Wish they would be as responsive to our concerns and improving customer service as they are in collecting payments! I waited 25 minutes yesterday and today to reschedule an appointment I was given an appointment 6 weeks from the appointment even though 2 of his brackets are falling off. They are blaming their lack of customer service on COVID19 but they are not willing to accommodate children's change in school schedule along with the fact that the child has only been seen 4 times so far this year even though they are supposed to be seeing him every month! I am strongly considering changing Orthodontists if I don't hear back from their owner and fix their issues. read more

I highly recommend Diamond Braces! I had my braces done there when I was younger and took my younger sister there to get her braces. Their service is fantastic and the wait time was minimal. The doctors were thorough with my sister, which was something I didn't get when I went to other local orthos. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help, including finding out our insurance coverage, which helped us understand our costs and how to save. Overall, the service and price was fantastic, my sister and I both had great experiences, several years apart. Not sure why all the hate but this place gave us awesome smiles. read more

Making appointments is easy and fast, wait time is usually ok. My son has been going to this place for months now. After every appointment, we had to go right back to the office, because something has already broke off and needed to be fixed right the way. Every single time! Not because he chewed on hard stuff or anything, most of the time we just pulled the car in the driveway or just walked into the door coming back from the appointment. Something fell off or broke off. Today he had another appointment, after he came home, guess what? They forgot to staple the whole entire bottom teeth. The wire came right out when he tried to brush his teeth. Look at the picture!! Blue rubber band on the top to hold the wire in place, the bottom, nothing! The entire wire comes right out! Yep, tomorrow we will have to go back to the office again. Another emergency visit! This is getting really stressful for us the parents thinking that our son is not in good hands or they did sloppy job every single time? Very worried now, definitely look elsewhere for our younger son who will also need braces.
