It took me a minute to figure out their check out kiosks and even though I saw the visual instructions I thought I placed my book right direction to scan sku but nOpe! Lol So staff helped me again. Clean, organized, open space…read more We came here to check out the friends of the library sale, we came an hour late, but it looked like they didn't have much to begin with. Checked the YA section and my niece was disappointed with the selection, I mostly accredit that to her frequent Barnes and Noble trips. Checked out the children's area as well, spacious, lots of places to sit. My niece said she was bored lol she really liked Huntington Beach library because they have play areas. I tried to explain to her it's all about funding. Looks like a decent place to come and work or study. Lots of tables and areas to tuck in. Didn't really take a look at the selection but the shelves look a little bare.

I used to be a huge customer of Barnes & Noble which I still am however, purchasing books can get a little expensive. Libraries, are definitely a thing for me. The Covina library is a great place to visit as they offer thousands of books on just about any topic, the library is always clean, well organized, and the staff is AMAZING and very friendly. There are many desks scattered throughout the entire library and a section with big comfy chairs to sit and get lost in a great and interesting book for a few hours. The library also sells books as a means to fundraise for the library and they do accept book donations by appointment Parking is always avail in their huge parking lot

This review is specifically for "Katie"…read more This morning I arrived at the library upon opening. My two children and I waited near the book return counter awaiting assistance. Katie looked at me multiple times however refused to end her conversation with an elderly coworker. I waited with my two children near the book return and waited for assistance for several minutes. Katie decided to finish her conversation with her coworker meanwhile ignoring my children, other patrons, and I. Once Katie's conversation was complete she remained seated at the front counter in front of a computer. Katie then shouted in my direction and asked if I needed help. I then asked Katie if she wanted me to shout my request due to how far away she was sitting and she said "sure". I began speaking as she was a far distance away, and finally, she got up from her chair and approached my children and I. Katie's attitude was unacceptable and unprofessional. Librarians are supposed to be helpful and Katie displayed no willingness to assist customers, rather she was more concerned with finishing her conversation.

Came here with my best friend her son and baby girl after school to check out some new books to read together. I used to just buy books but got overwhelmed with so many that it's easier just to rent a book plus gives us a reason to read new ones together. All the employees are really friendly. My friend had to get a library card I already had one so checked out 3 books. Usually park underground the lot is always full but found handicap thank goodness near the elevators. Nice courtyard they do tree lighting near here too during Christmas time. It's a cute little area for the library. Return book time is 3 weeks which is nice. Thank you for your help in finding books and for your friendly smiles. Baby girl and I also found a puzzle on the table we were trying to do for a bit too. Love this library. The only downside was that my seat didn't have a table to go with the outlet, though that was totally my choice haha. It is on the smaller side, and you'll need to park in an underground garage and take the elevator up to reach it.

Whereas there's nothing remarkable to say about the restrooms on the second floor, there's something delightful about all the artwork decorating the 4 walls upstairs, including a beautiful quilt, and multiple paintings depicting scenes or areas of the city of Pomona.

The downfall to this library is it's lack of modernization. The library is pretty outdated and already shows it's age through it's architecture, old books, and old furnishings. I recently visited the cal state Dominguez hills library and that one is super nice and modernized. Csula needs to do some catching up. The computer lab is located in the first floor in what I consider and very sloppy area. It is right next to the main help desk, and has the check out section on the other side of it. So there is always a constant flow of people and noise near and around the computer space. They need to have more exclusion for the computers!

My roommate and I fell in love with it--especially since it stays open until 12 AM, giving us plenty of time to work on assignments outside of our dorm. The cutest part is the beautiful purple flowers wrapped around the pillars near the entrance.
