Response time to my inquiry and subsequent communication was great-and they actually contacted me the night before reminding me of the time they'd meet me and yep, they were on time. So far I have used them 3 times; house to storage and condo (which had stairs!), then condo to house, and finally storage to house. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates are. No surprises-they tell you up front what they charge and give you an estimate. If you want peace of mind with your move, this is the team to use. I really wouldn't even consider using anybody else and I could not be more pleased-they get my highest recommendation!

Gabe, you still don't get it. You would rather debate on Yelp, then just pay what you owe me and…read moremove on. And hopefully learn a lesson and take responsibility for his own mistake. Let's be clear: I contacted him about the issue, and I even spoke with his wife--who acknowledged it and offered reimbursement. That offer was never honored. Instead, I got excuses and denial. So I did what I had to do. I disputed the charge, and the credit card company ruled in my favor and issued a partial refund. All of this over $400--which didn't even come close to covering the TV that was damaged because of his work. Instead of handling a simple problem like a professional, Gabe chose to drag this out, damage his own reputation, and lose future business. At this point, the negative reviews online speak for themselves--and I make sure to share my experience with anyone considering using him. This wasn't complicated. It just required accountability.

I am grateful to say that I booked with them for the price I was looking to pay quickly. The dilemma is finally over. Joshua was the light at the end of the tunnel. Disappointing New Policy That Drives Away Loyal Customers…read more I've been a regular customer of The Shipping Post for quite some time, primarily because I live in the neighborhood directly behind the business. I frequently stop in to ship my eBay packages and have always appreciated the convenience of having this location so close to home. However, when I stopped in today, I was informed that as of October 1, they have started charging 50 cents per package simply to attach an already-paid shipping label. Seriously? As a small business owner myself, I find this decision incredibly shortsighted. Customers like me bring consistent foot traffic into the store, traffic that could easily go directly to the post office instead. I would think a business would want to encourage repeat customers rather than nickel-and-dime them over something as simple as attaching a sticker. I'm not sure whether there's been a change in ownership or management, but this certainly doesn't seem like a customer-friendly business decision. It's not about the 50 cents. It's about the principle of charging loyal customers for something that was previously a basic courtesy. Those little conveniences are exactly what keep people coming back to neighborhood businesses. I hope management seriously reconsiders this policy before they start losing the very customers who have supported them for years.
