Not a large area, but with very complicated dimensions due to its location under an L-shaped staircase. We wanted maximum efficient use of the pantry space. Every aspect of Closet Factory's staff was terrific--professional, skilled, attentive, conscientious, reliable, and respectful. This is not the place to publish names, but I have made all this known to their owners and management. The design professional that initially visited our home listened to our description of what we wanted, made measurements, added their personal touch, created the perfect design on their laptop as we had described, and reviewed costs with us. No delay, no multiple contacts, no hand sketches, no scratch pads, just state-of-the-art professionalism. We had several other firms visit and did our due diligence. Closet Factory's price was competitive. No other firm compared to Closet Factory's obvious professional and technical prowess. We executed our agreement with Closet Factory, a second person visited to verify dimensions, we finalized the design, and the fabrication of our system went into the production queue. The final installation date was even sooner than originally anticipated. The installation crew was timely and neat, and the work was professionally performed. Every aspect of the entire process was performed solely by Closet Factory staff. I spent my career in the construction industry. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I put all aspects of my experience with Closet Factory among those of the top firms I have worked with in my career.

And the other was Closets by Design. Price was a major issue for me and since they're only garage cabinets I didn't want to spend thousands that the other 2 companies quoted me. The owner (Javier) came out to my home, showed up on time. I told him what I wanted, he measured the wall, quoted me a reasonable price and he got the job. After I told her I wasn't impressed with their work, she argued with me over text message and then didn't show up for the next appointment. After she didn't show up, I reached out to say that if she's not going to work the remaining hours I already paid for, I should be refunded the remaining balance. She has refused to refund me or show up for additional appointments. She won't answer my phone calls and only texts back to say my prepayment is "nonrefundable".

She is very dishonest, takes cash as payment...no receipt and openly makes comments such as...who wants to pay taxes ( mind you.... She is a business owner....), makes promises she cannot keep, etc. I lost 3 valuable days trying to move the piece I paid for...., hired movers ( that she could not find ), and she did not let us in.... Even movers called her themselves. Then she said she will break the piece because it is not movable...then she said they left it in a unit...., Very stressful expirience to say the least .. I was pressed for time and lost 3 valuable days because of her....on a top of going through a great amount of aggravation. What a mess !!! The small staff we did get.... While we were there....was close to free.... When I asked who is an artist and what she knows about this piece ( mind you.... museum quality piece that she let go for $ 20 bucks !!!....)..she said it is not signed and she has no idea what it is and how much it is worth....that was pretty much with everybody. She scheduled an appointment ....said she charges her client ( the seller ) hourly....and sold staff for nothing....I wonder if he had seen any profit....with those prices. It was a 3 million dollars condo packed with gorgeous expansive furniture...that she was giving away . Terrible....just terrible. I would never want anyone like that working for me. Tried to come back, even hired movers that could use a Crain if need be and she offended me saying I would never pay for them ( even I already paid for credenza and showed her I agreed to their estimate ). When I tryed to call , text and ask the let me in, .....she wasted my time, did not reply on time...and when she did...she put me down and talk to me like 5 year old....stop it, just stop it ..she told me ! I wonder it is because she heard me speaking with an accent and thought she can treat me like that. I have been a hard working professional in this country for over 30 years and treatment like this one does not work for me....I am against any kind of discrimination and strongly believe in a good customer service and strong business ethics. She has no idea what it is ... My apologies for a long review, but really felt like sharing. The good news....found the same credenza and professional movers helped me in 5 minutes.... without a big moving manager like Amy....thank God she was not involved in that transaction....
