Great job as usual. This was their 3rd job. Arrived on time. Quote didn't change and financing was great. Cleaned up. Small closet now has storage. read more

Edit: I have revised my review to 4 stars because the area manager did reach out and agree to make it right with the finish at the top where the gap was. I appreciated them doing so, though I still found the process and limitations a heavy slog to go through. The installers were in and out in under 15 minutes and the final product is shown in my pictures. read more

Awful experience beginning to end. Danielle Botts was the designer. Brandon was the installer and helper was Dustin. Danielle was only concerned with the sale. She didn't bother to inquire how old the existing closet was just that it would be removed by installer. The installers ripped out the previous closet with such force they literally broke the ceiling and left huge holes throughout the entire closet. They did nothing to minimize the damage. Like I said they ripped out with no regard for damage they were causing. Had Danielle taken the time to asses my situation she probably could have recommended to take the closet out myself and repair any issues prior to installation. Or I would have opted to pay for backing. I now have a broken ceiling and a closet full of holes. Again it's all about money and not customer satisfaction. We were not dealing with an open space situation here. I just wish she had advised differently. On install day I texted with the Danielle and she never addressed my concerns or even reached back out. She said it was her responsibility to put in a work order to repair damage, but as of now I have not heard back from anyone. Should they make this right then I will come back and update this review, but for now BUYER BEWARE. read more

i ordered and now the 1-800 number is disconnected and they charged me. Amex put in a dispute

15 years after I had my large master closet installed, I hired Closet by Design to redo my daughter's closet recently. I have to say that I can't be more pleased. My sweet designer Danielle took an exceptionally odd shaped walk-in and made it make sense. I tried to fight her because I thought we could do all three walls, but she gave us more storage using 2 walls. I couldn't be happier. I would attach a photo but my daughter is 18 and wouldn't let me take a pic, lol. read more

Closets by Design is a truly top notch company when it comes to designing and installing clostes. From my first meeting with the deisgner, Brooke, I knew I was in good hands, She listened to my needs and created a closet that was not only functional but also beautiful. She stay in touch throughout the process. The quality of their work is impeccable, and you truly do get what you pay for with them. The installation team, led by Thomas, was fantastic. They came in and worked their magic, creating a closet that exceeded my expectations. They were professional, efficient, and the end result was truly amazing. I cannot recommend CBD ENOUGH! If you are looking to upgrade your closet, look no further than this company. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

After my closet collapsed, I interviewed six companies with similar designs and competitively priced quotes with only a couple of them. I chose Closets By Design because they were competitively priced and they could meet my turnaround time, where the others couldn't. My designer was great she taught me things that I didn't know about closet design and options and gave me suggestions when I was leaning towards a higher priced design. I'm very happy with the work we did together to design a custom closet to meet our needs. The installers were on time, organized and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and we're great to work with. within a couple of hours they were done installing and my closet was back together and my life was no longer chaotic in my bedroom! I would definitely recommend them and have two bunch of neighbors and friends already. read more

I agree with the other reviews on here. This company is highly unethical. I made a $699 deposit. Their lead time was 6 weeks. When I found a cheaper quote and better lead time, they refused to refund my deposit even though they didn't purchase any materials. The manager I spoke with has an entitled 'who cares' attitude. They don't care about ethics - it's all about a signed contract. How they sleep at night is beyond me. Trust all of the reviews here. Do not use this company! read more

Excellent quality and value.....only area for improvement is how long we had to wait for an installation appointment

From sales to install, our Closets by Design custom closet experience was excellent. Our designer did such a great job of maximizing our modest shared master closet that it literally feels like we have three times the space! With each appointment there were call and text reminders, which works great for me bc I get burned out on emails! And even when, after our install, we noticed some gaps due to quirks with our new construction home, the team helped straighten things out and promptly scheduled an installation expert to add little pieces of trim which have just knocked it out of the park. It is gorgeous and we love it!!! read more

Delighted with the murphy bed and TV cabinet by Closets by Design. From the start, my designer did a great job of helping find the right design to fit the space perfectly. We don't usually write too many reviews but when we find a great place we do. We recently relocated from the East Coast and are currently living full time in beautiful Sarasota. My husband and I are slowing renovating a 1968 ranch (needs lots of TLC), so we were looking for an affordable custom closet solution and found Closets by Design through our monthly flyer. We read several reviews on different forums all with people giving great reviews so we gave them a call. Since we are tight on space, we needed our master/guest bedrooms and garage closets totally functional. The entire process was perfect from start to finish, especially working with our designer, Dani Thatcher. We have to say she was truly amazing. She was very patient and always available to answer questions as well as make suggestions/changes that we needed. She explained everything upfront and was very transparent. Dani even went out of her way to remeasure our garage closets when we ran into a wire issue and worked on finding us an excellent solution. She was professional, knowledgeable and a total joy to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dani or work with her on future projects. If you're looking for an affordable custom closet solution and an exceptional company to work with (we support our local businesses), give Closets by Design a call. read more

My in home consultant Danielle was amazing. She truly understood my needs and how to maximize my closet space. She did an amazing job with the design abc explaining the materials, process and installation. Excellent representative for the company and her specific office! Kevin and his assistant did an incredible job with my installation. They were courteous and incredibly respectful of my home and time. They were professional and spent a great deal of time cleaning post installation. Class act all the way around! read more

We had several quotes and designs. We went with closets by design because of the communication between designer (Lori) and us. She responded to questions on the weekend and from start to finish. Her design was the best and communication and friendliness was top notch. Job was completed when they said and quality is fantastic. Scheduling was a breeze. Highly recommend and would ask for Lori. We have other closets to be completed and she will be the one I call! read more

Great experience. Everything went smooth from initial meeting to installation. Very happy with whole project, highly recommend.

We were pleased from the initial consultation through installation. The designer had many great suggestions and was able to tweak our design to fit our needs and budget. We loved that the designs and pricing were provided so quickly. Install was scheduled a few weeks out and they arrived right on time. They did a very clean install and we are very happy with the new storage options provided. It is an investment, but we believe a worthy one. read more

The experience was pretty good. We re-did two master closets and a pantry. Our designer Shannon was smart and knew what she was doing. Took accurate measurements. Our installers were efficient, pleasant and polite. The eeason for four stars and not five was we had a glitch in the design of my pantry. Soneone at the office changed the measurements abd the pantry was incorrectly done. Howdver, CBD remedied the situation and re-did my pantry quickly. Overall, happy with the result. read more

We got two reach-in closets installed last week - and we are very pleased. Our designer (Bev) was fantastic - she had lots of great ideas; she checked with the teams to ensure that some craziness in one of our closets could work (they figured out how to make it work... woo hoo!); Bev was very patient and worked with us through some redesigns as we thought about what we wanted. The installers were efficient and pleasant and cleaned up thoroughly. The only problem was the long time from finalizing the design to the installation... with the quality of the material and workmanship, it was worth the wait! read more

I thought about installing closet setups in both of our master bedroom closets. I looked at IKEA and they had all the components. But when I thought about the amount of work to customize it for us, I gave Closets by Design a call. Sure they are more expensive than IKEA, but they designed it to take advantage of every square inch of the space. They gave us many options, but did not push them. Their installation was done in an afternoon by two installers and was done correctly and to our specifications. It was definitely worth having them do it rather than a DIY project. read more

Enjoyed working with Kelly Michael the designer. We received a call prior to the scheduled date confirming. John the head installer did a great job along with his 2 assistants. They were on time, polite, helpful with any questions. Recommended highly. ***** read more

From the start to finish by far the most conscientious people I have met. Our sales rep arrived on time and provided a detailed quote with sketches within hours. Great attention to design based on our on-site consultation. The installers finished the job quicker then expected and after each day cleaned up the work site and vacuumed. As the job progressed we were informed of what was completed and the plan for the following day. The whole job took 3 days to install but our closets and pantry look amazing. We definitely have additional projects coming up with them. There is only one item we were slightly disappointed with. In some of the drawers, the pull handles they used power tools for the screws which stripped the heads causing sharp burrs. A bad thing around clothing. But they are coming to replace them them all, no questions asked. Not the cheapest closet company but with the lifetime warranty and the awesome people we dealt with I would choose them again in an instance. read more

Great job. Great quality. Happy with my beautiful closet! I recommend this company highly.

I LOVE how my master closet turned out. The entire experience was stress-free and seamless, from the rep who called to set up my consultation, to the rep that came and designed/sketched the closet at my home, to the follow up reminders leading up to the installation and the installation itself. This was the easiest process I've encountered while moving into my new construction home (and there have been a lot!). Their prices were fair and the lowest (I got 4 quotes to compare). I would highly recommend them to anyone. One recommendation for anyone who's interested in a custom closet, paint your walls prior to the installation. Makes the closet pop even more! read more

My closet looks great. Took about 3 hours to install. my space is maximized which helps a lot. From the planning stages all the way to installing was an easy process. this is not a cheap endeavor. But it is guaranteed for life. The only disappointing thing was that the installers were supposed to be here between 830 and 10 and I heard nothing from them and they were about 20 minutes late. It would've been nice to just have a phone call saying we're on our way. It was a minor inconvenience. read more
