On arrival you get a friendly greeting from the beertender and the people seated are just as nice. There's a real sense of people first. Unfortunately, for me, there's something I pick up in the beer flavor wise that's off. I don't know if it's in the brewing process, an additive or maybe the water used. A saltiness that seems to work well with some flavors and less in others. They are also a cider house & over half the people were drinking cider. They offer several options. No food. read more

Nice addition to Mandan and really the whole BisMan metro. Nice drink selection, friendly owners and the upstairs area was a nice option for our group to hang out & visit. I believe they let you bring food there as they don't have anything outside of maybe some packaged snacks. read more

Dialectic Brewing Company is an amazing place and serves some of the best locally brewed beer I have ever tasted anywhere. The place is owned and operated by young husband and wife team Dylan and Hannah , as well as Dylan's Brother Jacob. Husband and wife are former PhD candidates, who decided to take a chance on following their dream and open their own brewery. Their passion for and commitment to great beer is evidenced in everything they do, from, first and foremost, the quality of their beers to the attention to detail in designing and decorating the interior of the brewery/bar. At Dialectics you will not find TV's or loud music. Instead, you will find an atmosphere designed to make you feel at home, where strangers become neighbors who actually talk to one another and socialize. Incredible homegrown brewery. Everything they serve is made in-house, and it's absolutely fantastic. The Negation IPA is one of the most balanced IPA I've ever tasted when it comes to bitterness and flavor. They don't have a kitchen, but will often have a food truck representative inside at a booth selling food at a price that's more than fair. And to top it all off, the staff is so friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone coming through the area looking for exceptional beer. The drinks are UNDER-priced for the level of quality that they serve.
