Jason made our experience fun, went out of his way to make accommodations for our group and brings his passion into the tour he conducts. You can tell he really cherishes the relationships he created with all the individuals at the local wineries. Jason is fantastic and such a great host and tour guide. We had made our guests' welcome bags with the shuttle information prior to the event and we found out the timeline that we had sent to the shuttle company a few weeks prior never was approved by their team. We ended up having to rent an additional shuttle to make our flow of events work. In addition, we had an after party and the bus had no music on it. This just led to a quiet ride and bored us a bit on the ride back to town. Having some tunes would have helped! They did what they had to do the day of and executed just fine.

I was also concerned that the driver was frequently distracted by his phone-making calls and texts, as well as scrolling-for much of the drive. It was a very disheartening experience, and I believe it could have been avoided if the driver had been more attentive. Based on this experience, I won't be using South Bend Taxi again. EDIT: I've read the owner's response and would like to clarify a few points. The accident occurred on an empty street around 5:30 AM with no traffic, and I was the one who contacted the police. We resumed our trip after the officer arrived and the police report was completed, as the officer said that an insurance claim couldn't be filed if the driver left prior to completion. I can't say I noticed if the neighborhood was "sketchy" as the response claims, but I'm also not certain I see how it's related to the incident. While I've had several successful rides with this company in the past, I've consistently observed drivers using their phones directly in hand, not via Bluetooth. Regarding reimbursement, I had not been informed of any prior to reading this reply; the owner simply asked me to reach out, and when I called, I received no response. Unfortunately, the company's reply seems to misrepresent the situation at certain points. I'll add a star to my rating because I appreciate the positive experiences I've had previously and can confirm that I've had good customer service in the past, but I remain concerned about the recurring inattentiveness I've witnessed while riding with this company
