The furniture is mostly beds, with a few other items like bureaus and shelves. The prices seemed reasonable for furniture, but I must admit I was too weirded out to take a close look. Replies to emails and telephone calls were prompt, the service exemplary in every respect, and the prices were unbelievably good. The delivery service was free and the men were very courteous and everything went like clockwork. I purchased over the telephone, and how lovely to get an old-fashioned, hand written receipt in the post the next day with credit card docket attached. Would make this company my number one port of call for any furniture items I may require in the future. Absolutely brilliant!

You've got to love the name of this place. You can just imagine it now; the owner is wondering…read morewhat to call his shop and asks one of his assistants for help - 'Well, what do we sell here?' 'Just beds'. And with that, their name dilemma was resolved. Inside the shop itself, they have a wide-ranging and excellent selection of beds for you to look at (and bounce on, if no-one's looking) including the ever brilliant car bed. As Isabel says, the car bed was always, and always will be, the best bed that any furniture place sells, ever. As a kid you'd dream of getting a car bed so that you could pretend you were driving a car and now, even when I can drive a real car, I still find myself wanting a car bed. An imagined car is always much better than a real-life one, isn't it? The prices at Just Beds are reasonable enough whilst being competitive and the service there is personal and friendly, meaning it is a great place to go when looking for beds or other furniture bits and bobs.

I am writing this review to advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this business,…read moreparticularly in light of my experience and the conduct that followed. On Monday, 23 February 2026, a white delivery van belonging to this shop and driven by the owner turned into the road I was crossing and passed extremely close to me, my husband and our dog. I found the manner of driving to be unsafe and alarming. I am currently pregnant, which made the situation particularly distressing. Had we not moved quickly, I believe there was a real risk of serious injury. I approached the afterwards to raise my concern. No apology was offered, and the interaction was not handled in a professional or constructive manner. I subsequently left a factual Google Review describing the incident. In response, the owner confirmed that both onboard van CCTV and warehouse CCTV captured the event. However, rather than addressing the safety concern directly, his public response included outdated sexist remarks and inappropriate references to unborn children. This was deeply disappointing. It is concerning that a long-standing business would feel the need to resort to personal and gender-based commentary rather than engaging professionally and focusing on the safety issue raised. His response also included statements asserting that an apology had been given. This is categorically incorrect. No apology was offered at any stage. Given both the seriousness of the incident itself and the manner in which it was subsequently handled, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this business, particularly in relation to safety, professionalism, and the accuracy of its responses to legitimate customer concerns. This review reflects my genuine experience.
